So.... how many more of these are they going to put out. I want prime for the sword but i have most of these. I mean when animated comes out should we wait for them to put out the really upgraded kind or what. Come up with new ideas Hasbro!!

Oh wow, do these ever looks awesome! Jazz and Megatron in particular look so much better. I'll be getting those two for sure, and Prime as well. And Ironhide. I really want to see what Blackout will look like too.

Hasbro sure likes my money.

 

You know what I really hope, though? That Prime actually has BLUE lights instead of yellow. I never understood why his windows and eyes light up yellow, when on the box it shows they light up blue, and it makes sense that they'd be blue.

 

Gah. Part of me feels like I've been kicked in the balls, part of me REALLY wants that Prime.

 

I guess you have a point there. I dunno, something about this just feels a little "gotcha! Here's the REAL movie toys!" to me. Now I'm going to have to worry about whether I should just go ahead and pick up the original versions of the toys come Movie 2 or sit and wait while they're right there on retailers' shelves to see if the possibility of something like this happens again. Especially since they aren't doing this for ALL of the movie characters, just most of them-- Brawl and Bonecrusher don't seem to be getting Premium Edition figures, for example.

 

Ya know...I think I'm going to nip this issue in the bum and just learn how to paint up the figures myself.

 

I just have to get Prime, Megs, Ironhide and Jazz. I'll hold off on starscream cause i'm hoping hasbro will release a Leader class version when the second movie comes out.

 

Megatron is very nice. I've got the original release, but I'm going to pick this up. I'll probably get Prime as well, but the straight repaints will be left for someone else.

I expect these to all be various store exclusives, so getting them all (including the two released Best Buy ones), is going to be a pain for those looking to complete the series.

 

The best choice would have been to save these for Transformers 2.

The big question now is which store is getting which figures. Seems that I have better luck finding exclusives if they are for Target & TRU.

Might bite on that Megatron. And is it me or does Prime look like he actually had to sacrifice some paintapps? Also, lawl at Ironhide not being any more accurate at all.

 

Wow, some of those look flat out gorgeous.

 

Except that most of these won't even BE in TF2. Not only that, but the ones that are, could very likely have different vehicle modes or bodies.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Hopefully they'll be exclusive to a store I can easily get to. The eBay prices are absurd for the first wave of these, I'd hate to have to get the whole line off eBay if they end up being a TRU exclusive.

 

I suspect that many very well be the case. Seems like they could easily have any returning characters get the snot beaten out of them and rebuilt with new alt-modes. Fire engine Prime perhaps?
