Another "I like this Siege figure, but not enough to replace my Universe" custom. Hound's boxy truck mode and dark green seemed well suited to the old Gobot Geeper-Creeper, so I removed the battle damage and Autobot symbol then added a new head I drew up and had printed at Shapeways. I had considered including details to call back to the spare tire and gas can on the original, but I wanted to keep it fully transformable so I settled for just the head box.

Sweet fancy Moses, but do I love that head. Geeper Creeper has been one of my desk bots for years, and I've often debated customizing a Hound into him, but never got myself past that stage. This is great work. Does he have the bright yellow hood star in altmode?

EDIT: Also, if you wanted to give him a gun that's a bit more accurate to the original toy, might I suggest the rifle from the Classics Deluxe Optimus Prime (from the two-pack with Megatron)? But that's by no means a detraction - he looks great with the standard gun, as well!

That head is great! Is it available on shapeways to the general public? How about an alt mode?

I clicked on this thread think "oh no, not Geeper Creeper", but that head is killer. Works perfectly, great work!

    Thanks, guys!

Oh, great idea - I don't think I have one of those, but I'll check to see if I can find one for cheap to steal his gun. Thanks!

This was my first TF part, so it needed a little massaging to work with Hound's neck (I usually draw up parts for models, where some final adjustments are always needed). As long as you don't mind doing the same, I can absolutely change the file to be available to everyone.

Here's his alt mode. I left the gold star in place, figuring it was close to Geeper-Creeper's hood and fit this design:

Got the head today. It looks great! All I need now is some of that paint and I’ll be set.

    Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, and you're welcome! The paint I used was Mini Engine Green (I think also called "Mowog Green"), mostly because it was already on-hand and looked closer than anything else I had. I'm sure there has to be a better/cheaper alternative :lol
