‘I remember seeing someone post pics of that head on this figure. I think it needed something to add padding around the ball but did look good IIRC.

Funny, that's exactly what I'm doing with mine.

Shame this company seems to have died. I thought their approach to MP was interesting. No frills but cheap and fun. A whole line of figures from them could have been so cool.

Maybe. I like Big Spring well enough though he's nothing to get excited about. But Big Cannon just looks like crap.

I disagree, hes a solid base that just needs a little bit of clean up work to get to fantastic. And for $35 to $40 he makes an excellent base for a custom 20191205_130742.jpg 20191205_130731.jpg

I totally strongly disagree too with your assessment of Big Cannon. I like him a lot and most importantly he is affordable. He is on my short purchase list.

I'd chuck a large portion of my current collection and go all in on a complete Open and Play MP scale line in an instant. I was hoping they'd do at least a complete 86 movie line of characters, but have to just wait and see.

I was hoping they'd get to the Arcee they hinted at since I'm not happy with any of the current options. I love the playability of those two, especially Big Spring. I think I pick him up and play with/transform him at least once a week

Are those KFC seeker hands? I just bought a set to start customizing my Big Cannon. Yours looks great btw. I had Fanstoys Sovereign before I bought BC and ended up selling him off. Not that BC is a better figure, but he's a lot more fun to play with.

Yep...good eye you've got there. I molded and cast a custom connector for the wrists. They fold up perfectly and don't interfere at all with transformation.

And two Springers it is. $25 is more than I spend on most of my legends stuff. Felt like a no-brainer.

I just ordered this guy from Tfsource. $25 is impossible to pass up. TL;DR, if I may, what is the general consensus? Am I in for a treat? I did some very quick skimming and from what I gather people like the figure but the face could be better?

The face needs abit of work but this Toy , repeat TOY, is a helluvalot of fun. This isn’t a painted up, heavy ass tart that you leave on a shelf but a desktop rubiks cube that you flip through the modes for fun. It’s also good enough to stand in as a MP Springer if that’s your inclination.

I did precisely that, and like the result a lot. For details, please see my post from May 10th, three pages back or so.
You need to make a small filler piece (check the photos in the post), but that's really easy.

Hey has anybody done this yet? Didn't really like storing weapons on top of the car mode. Noticed the little screw hole in the side, the gun fits snugly! 79731932_646592872412288_4184905061073158144_n.jpg

Gather around, story time. UPS was supposed to deliver it “by the end of the day” yesterday. So around 8:00pm I called it and got ready for bed, it had been bad weather so I understood, around 9:30 I passed out (I have to be awake for 4:30am). Fast forward to 2am when I randomly woke up and then decided to check to see when the delayed date will be. Nope it had arrived at 9:44pm and left out in the weather (under an enclosure so the snow didn’t get on the box but it was still damp) so 2am I ran out, grabbed all the packages I was waiting on, and came inside. Then I looked at the time 2:15ish and I thought “okay I’ll have two hours left to sleep” and opened him up. I’m incredibly impressed right out of the box, didn’t get a chance to transform him since it was 2am but I did adjust his shoulder bits and I was very happy and satisfied with how it perfectly fit into place.

You will only love him more after transforming. The cockpit size-changing is freaking brilliant. I've never seen anything like it.

I’ve heard that’s a cool part! I am a sucker for neat engineering, which is why UT bayverse figures have my wallet, also TE prime blows me away with how he transforms so I cannot wait to transform this one. Just messing around for the few seconds I did and seeing all the bits that neatly fold in and out! I’m really excited.
