I have given Iron Factory a chance with their tarn... i'm certain I am going to lose him.

Also my 1/100 scale gundams would fit even less.

I’m on west coast US, still waiting for mine. Shipped two weeks ago, looks like it’ll be around another week. :(

That’s typical though, for some reason they always land on the east coast and have to travel cross country.

Im just riffing but if Magic square or New Age gets into the combiners I would think many would convert. It looks like a complete first two season cast plus movie is inevitable. Right where MP is today.

I dont understand? Legends are closer to 1/100 scale than Masterpieces... I believe Masterpiece is generally around 1/32 with the exceptions being the mass shifters (megs, soundwave, shockwave, etc.) and the beast wars characters

Well this is iron factory not tarn vs 1/100 mg zeta gundam.

    Soooo no. Not close

    I don't like 1/144 scales either. Hence I prefer the mp/1/100s

So you like things that are the same size, but not in the same scale.

Magic Square have announced/teased both Devastator and Menasor:
    Magic Square Devastator
MS-Toys legend scale not Menasor / Stunticons
They have 3d printed prototypes of the Stunticons:

    How do you figure?

I'd rather have the correct size bots in the similar scale. Like I've had to buy KO OS so my GT gravity builder to match everything else... Because GT doesn't scale with anything else.

Like Fanstoys scaling is exactly how I want it.

I think our point is... Gundam are much larger than the average Transformer. Like the pic you posted they're probably fairly well in scale with each other.

Ok then it is a poor example.

I want MP scale. Iron factory and legend scale is too small for my tastes. I'm at a loss for what the confusion outside of that is.

Received my two Starscreams today from TaoBao. Jet mode is gorgeous and looks pretty good on the supplied space-bridge stand. I will say that the clear plastic "vertical" pieces connecting the stand to the figure are just stupidly big and distracting. This is a small, relatively lightweight figure. We don't need a massive, thick, reinforced clear plastic support. A thin, rounded acrylic rod would work just as well and be a LOT less distracting:
    upload_2019-12-11_15-42-14.png
I'm pretty sure I have at least one thinner stand at home I can try out, and if it works, you can pick those stands up for cheap from eBay or Aliexpress. If the peg holes are similarly sized, it may even work with the included space bridge base piece.
That Space bridge piece is really nice, very clean metallic purple paint over clear acrylic. Seeing this kind of smooth and clean paint job on a comparatively cheap 3P Legends figure simply highlights how terrible Takara's expensive MP paint quality is. MP-45 is an unsightly blemished mess in comparison.
Transformation is fin and relatively easy. The resultant bot mode looks amazing. I had to laugh though - as much as this looks like a miniaturised version of Maketoys Starscream, I even found the nose cone popped off in transformation if I wasn't careful!! LOL.
The painted finish is again, impeccable, the colours are spot on. Posability is great, the add-on blast effects are very cool. I like the included Megatron gun, though a little disappointed it doesn't include the stock. Probably fits the hands better without it.
There's a bit of a backpack here, but nothing too outrageous, and it pegs together and cleans up well.
All the joints are tight - some of them TOO tight, but that will ease up over time.

The only complaint I have (aside from the too-chunky stand) is stability. This guy is a freaking nightmare to pose with any stability. It's great the feet have such a good up and down tilt, but the rounded thruster ports serving as the base for the foot just struggle to stop him tipping over backwards. I thought the Van's were bad but I eventually managed to figure out how to twist the toes to get them more solid. Hopefully the same will apply here. Fortunately the ab crunch, knees, thigh swivel etc all provide enough flexibility that you can kind of twist him into a stable pose, but he tends to end up leaning too far forwads or simply falling over backwards. Hopefully there's a way to arrange the heels and toes better.
Loving this guy, and super excited for Skywarp, who's on his way from TaoBao and should hopefully arrive early next week.

Managed to double up on almost all the NA bots so far for alt mode display - just need to pick up duplicates of the vans and the bugs. And of course, waiting for a re-release of MS Prime in-stock colours for an alt mode copy of him.

MPs are approximately 1/32. According to wikipedia Optimus Prime is 22ft tall. A standard Gundam is 60ft tall. That's nearly 3 times as tall as Optimus. A Gundam in 1/32 MP scale would be almost 2ft tall.

The MG pilots, I think, really exemplify the scale difference. A MG pilot is half the size of MP car tires. Not even close to the size of MP Spike or other MP scaled humans.

I have 3 collections. G1, MP, and Legends. Can't quit any of em. :D

That said, I think I am just going to stick with my DX9 seekers in the legends scale and be happy. These New Age are pricey and not that much of an upgrade to my eye.

Yeah, jet mode is pretty similar.
However, I personally think the articulation and finish on the bot mode for NA is leagues ahead of DX9's - the colours are a lot lighter and glossier. DX9's feel a little dark and dull (dull as in matt and flat and dark, not dull as in boring) The range of motion and articulation are amazing.
Of course I' new to Legends so I'm not replacing anything. I'm all in for 12 - two each for Seekers and Coneheads.

And I can relate to the multiple collection thing - I love my MP's but these Legends bots are really amazing for desk bots at work. I'm just annoyed at how outnumbered the Decepticons are currently, especially with DX9 Dinobots standing in. Need to get me another set of Insecticons and the rest of the Seekers and Coneheads, right quick!

Meh. Still not the size I want for my transformers.

    Lets try this.
Are these the same size as the SiEGE starscream, rain makers, skywarp, thundecracker, and red wing?

I think it's more that coming into these threads and lamenting that these aren't bigger is the equivalent of telling a cashier, "That means it's free, right?" when an item doesn't scan.

We've heard it many times before. Legends are better. Joining us is inevitable. :D
