The designs from Prime are fantastic. I was always a hardcore G1 guy, but even I will admit: Prime is the superior show, hard as those words are for me to spill out, lol

 

I don't mind that a large amount of the film characters were not simply "humans with robot skins" or that didn't look like their Takara-Diaclone/Microchange. My problem with them were the vast majority of them were bad. Especially earlier on. Bumblebee is the sweet spot that took them years to get too.

 

I hope Bumblebee himself gets redone; I'm not a fan of his less creepy Bayverse face and his bulbous proportions, he has the same shoe size as Optimus and has not abdomen.

Yeah I think the top area/shoulders is too wide and flat from the top. Looks odd to me.

 

I don't mind if Transcraft skips Blitzwing and then we will just mix and match MPMs between Transcraft and Cyberfactory.

Toyworld's ThreeA scale is too big for me.

 

As much as Bee Starscream was kinda rushed and put in the back, the toy really does show how great he could be if he was given enough time by the team to polish it.

Hope they get the paintjob right as they progress. Their cg preview is lacking a lot and is closer to the concept version than to the movie. It's interesting to note that Starscream's appearance in the movie was actually different/updated when compared to the concept and behind the scenes views that often get reposted/referenced.

The final movie version has much more red in the upper leg/hip area:

I think the headsculpt still needs work too to match the movie version. Proportions of the facial features aren't there yet.

 

It looks like the physical prototype on display has two distinct eyes. Optional heads maybe?

 

not sure why they're going with Starscream first instead of Blitzwing but i am VERY interested to see how this turns out.

 

The listing does show optional heads but I'm mainly talking about the paintjob.
