It's more likely *everybody* who cares about scale has Prime so here with the guy who's height the entire WfC scale is built around.

Wave 5 of Siege was a lot of Earthrise brought forward so Wave 1 of Earthrise suffered I guess

Man, the review just killed me on this figure. I had been planning to get him but now I'm at a "eh, I'll pass." The backpack partsforming is kind of annoying; although, I bet it has to do with the fact that the mold will also be used by at least Bumblebee and the rear of a VW Bug looks nothing like Cliffjumper. The additional parts I find pretty bland and don't really add much to the figure. Since I have no fondness for the character--say unlike Astrotrain--I can't justify the added cost for such a small guy. But finally what really seals the deal is those giant boatshoes/clogs. They were kind of funny on Seaspray because he was a nautical vessel and it looked like he was wearing innertubes on his feet, but good lord those things are massive on Cliff.
Wave 1 might mark the first time that I pass on an entire wave since I got back in with Titans Return.

Don't have time to watch the video right now, but if that's indeed the case then I'm out.

I reeeeeally don\'t like the parts forming, but the rest of the figure looks good enough for me to ignore it. Hopefully it just means we\'ll get good retools of him.

Man he looks awesome I'm so excited for the new line I don't mind the parts forming part kind of looks like it could be used as a shield anyways, and I'm hoping were getting a Bumble Bee out of Cliffjumper either way its a must buy for me

Partsforming is totally acceptable Imo as long as the parts have somewhere to go in robot mode. Combiner kibble from g1 is bad because you have a bunch of loose combiner parts when the gang is in alt mode. I think that this is ok for a figure of this size.

Being a Deluxe would have been a saving grace.
    Glad I didn't pre-order him.

Oof, even for a WFC figure, that looks tiny. And the partsforming certainly doesn't make things better

this is the wildest theory. part of the reason we got the Constructicons in a box set is because they're one-off molds. short of G2 repaints, I firmly believe we'll never see those molds or the predacons, ever again. Frankly, I'm okay with that. The individual bots for devy are kind of terrible and there's no way I'd pay any amount of money for anything built from that long haul mold. I'm glad they exist as individual bots, to be fair, but that isn't why I bought the set and I would never argue that fiddling with those bot modes is anything close to resembling fun.

it is funny that Devy came up, though. the backlash against partsforming I see here is what led to the two Titan combiners having unfortunate bot modes. I would have given anything for some parts to act as Devy's hips/thighs, so that Long Haul wasn't a giant boring block. my main reason for passing on Predaking was the BS they pulled with the legs. I don't get why people are fine with weapons partsforming but anything beyond that is just unspeakable.
