Shit Skycrow and Lightning are going for THAT much? I like em but I don't love 'em like that... maybe I should sell 'em?

No. After the Coneheads I think they will do the last two Headmasters. The Crowdfund for Sunstorm barely went through and then the quality was regarded as bad. The subsequent Crowdfund for the next one failed.

If somebody is stupid enough to pay it why not?
The probem is that people see that and think it's the going rate when in fact often than not it's a one off anonmly sometimes people just get lucky, however you'll still make a tidy profit no doubt

Best hope for an Acid Storm is for someone to start KOing these. Yes Model has done smoe of Maketoys stuff but they've already KO'd seekers. I'm holding out hope for now.

If this is right (the funds raising bit) Skywarp and Thundercracker might see a release too

Received my MT Dirge yesterday, unpacked and checking him out today. He looks great. This is stunningly toon accurate. The colours, the detailing. They managed to get the double chest inlets (which Takkara failed to do). The smaller top wings can swing down in bot mode to be in their toon accurate position.
The colours are more accurate and the detail is far less invasive (and yes some hate the toon look, but this is explicitly a toon accurate deco and it also fits in better with the newer official products than the official does). Articulation seems pretty close to the previous versions of the mould, though the larger wings on the legs will limit some poses, inevitably.
My joints all seem nice and tight, no loose or floppy limbs. I am noticing that the front-facing hip skirts are a little more prone to pop off on this guy? I never had any issues with the Seekers but both have popped off with casual handling in Dirge. For whatever reason its a "c" clip attachment and seems to pop off (like the nose cones on the Seekers?) Ironically, unlike the Seekers, the nose cone on this guy is NOT held on with a C Clip, it's a fully closed circle this time. Nice they fixed that on these guy's, disappointed they didn't give the hip skirts the same treatment.
Also, the waist not tabbing in means the ab crunch is a little more obvious, The Seekers held together fine at the waist. Dirge is still solid, not flopping about loosely, but he does tend to detach slightly at the waist when posing. I think it's because of how the top wings sit when I have them in the lower position. It may also just be the wonky out of the box mistransformation.
In regards to those wings, they sit reasonably well but they have to sit either slightly behind or in front of the lower wings. They can't clip together. There's a tab on the tip of the lower wings that COULD tab into the upper wings if they placed a slot there, but they haven't done so, and it kind of just sits there, slightly wonky. Of course, tabbing them in like that may limit articulation so I'm not surprised they skipped that.
On that note, it seems like the waist rotation is gone from this figure now? The Seekers had it but he seems to be locked in place by butt flaps and wings etc. Edit: OK, just looked closer, having the top wings lowered blocks rotation. In the upwards position he can still spin. You can raise the wings, turn the torso and swing the wings back down, but there's a tendency for them to catch on the hip flaps and pop them off. That may be why the C clip is there, to prevent these parts from permanently breaking off.
The hip and waist flaps are a little messy and tend to be a little all over the place when posing, but they clean up fine.
The 5 faces are decent enough though there are definitely two derp faces - a sad derp and a surprised derp. The other three are all pretty good.
All told this is a definite win for me. I briefly owned the official Ramjet when it first released (paid a fortune and jumped through hoops to order from TTMall) It was a steaming pile of crap and I was so disappointed in it. I sold it for like $100 loss and still feel I was ripping the buyer off. This is looking so good and fits really well with the more modern MP aesthetic.
Love this and can't wait for the next two.

(Oh, it also came with the Starscream wing fillers - they look good, match the colour perfectly and serve to fix an issue that didn't really bother me but its a noce touch anyways.

@Starganderfish sigh...I guess I'm going to have to buy this now. Thanks a lot. One question if you don't mind, the lower wings seem like they give him a pretty huge footprint. How hard is it to get him on a shelf with other figures? Can they adjust a bit? I'm starting to run short on room.

Does anyone know when TFsource will start shipping? I've had my preorders in for all 3 since Dec of 18'.

Normally I'd apologise for enabling someone elses addiction, but I get the feeling that MakeToys are teetering on a knife-edge so every extra sale has got to make the remaining Coneheads a more likely proposition. So I guess... thanks for helping to enable MY addiction by aiding further MT releases?:p
The Lower Wings do take up a fair spread of room, but they are on a hinge so can fold backward. It kind of softly has to push over the edge of the calf bit when you push it back so it almost feels like a soft ratchet with two very large clicks - so it comfortably sits straight out to the side, backwards at a 45-degree angle and straight back. This gives more options for squeezing him on the shelf.

@Starganderfish Thanks, those pics help a lot. I can probably squeeze him in that way.

I have a feeling this guy is not selling well. Like Maketoys could have airshipped this guy so that he can make the holiday season, just like how FT shipped their Goose.

But no, this guy is coming through slow boat.

I have a feeling it's being delivered sporadically. I have it pre-ordered at ages three and up and there's no word of it even being close, does anyone in the US have it available?

Nope. Not even TCP who is Maketoys' partner here in the States has a date.
