Honestly can’t wait till more people get their hands on this guy and do customs, I feel like certain paint jobs could really enhance his look further

I see what you mean. I guess it depends on the angle.
either way, I'm fine with his proportions.

    Love that line:
"Go to hell!" - "This planet is hell" :D

TLK was a mess but it had a few gems and of course some of my favorite character designs in all the films.

these new pics in the past few days... I feel release is close
Conspicuous by its absence is the new head for Challenger which leads me to believe that's the final piece in production. Makes sense. They have the mold, it's just a matter of paint apps.

So the final price was announced which is 140$ on ShowZ, 138$ if you pre-order. I'm still not 100% sure but I think I'm going to cancel my pre-order. At least for now, and wait for any price drops or until a new paint scheme is announced or even a different company takes a chance on TLK Megatron.

I'm in a similar boat. I have absolutely no qualms with he figure as it is, but the possibility of an alternative paint job is intriguing just for variety's sake. Would be nice to know what (if any) their plans are for future releases, but that wouldn't do of course.

I'm getting Dragoon regardless but if UT went with this as their deco and added in the gold bits then I wouldn't care about the lack of sculpted detail one bit. Kudos to the guy that did that, would love to know what paints, methods he used as that thing just looks awesome.

Even that completely unrelated design like Galvatron cannot stop UT now. And it seems to have human alliance feature too. Bring it on UT!

I'm gonna buy him anyway, but he really towers over Optimus... I don't get why they've done that.

Wasn't my favorite version of Megatron/Galvatron, but it looks really good. Crazy that it transforms into that semi. Is there a thread for that guy yet?

I think most of us agree 100%. A good paint job would take this figure from looking like a toy to a being a high-end collectible it should be. I'm PO'ed at showz and ready for my pay-in-full email, but I wish they'd start putting some paint on their figures because the foundation is so damn good.

That transformation is quite nuts and cool. The headsculpt looks better in that video. I think UT's movie toys have plenty of paint, but they lack the weathering other companies are starting to employ on their movie figures. Honestly I can take or leave the weathering.

About a million times better than the stock release.

Also why is challenger so small??? They should be roughly the same height.

Transformation looks fun and seems a lot more intuitive than many of the others for which I've been watching the videos.

He should be one head taller... looking at the Kevin video, it's more like 2 heads...

I do. I made a comment about it earlier.

It doesn't really matter for me in the end, because I'm not gonna place them next to each other.
