The rest of the island isn’t accessible yet. The only new area that’s been added was a cave section where you can unlock Nautica. Though if the new loading screen art is any indication they might be planning something for the island.

& Top Prize this week is ALL HAIL STARSCREAM!!! with Skywarp, Starscream, for 6000 tokens, plus Starscream accessories & te regular crates etc.
pretty good, since the top characters are usually 7500 tokens!!

 

As far as I can tell, new 'first appearance' characters are now 10,000 tokens, second appearance characters are 7,500 tokens, and 'older' characters are 6,000 tokens.

To be honest, the best value for your currency (if you have enough) when it comes to getting new characters is to get the special offer packs which cost 1,000 gems for the latest character with a bonus piece of equipment and usually bonus sparks. If you convert the 10,000 tokens you need to get a new character to gem-value, it would run you up to a cool 5,000 gems for just a new character, so even if you've saved up say 7,500 tokens, you'd still need 1,250 gems to complete the total cost. Go figure: that's more gems than just outright buying the special offer pack. Those 7,500 tokens are better spent on the 10 gold boxes!

i think more fans should give this game a chance. they have majorly increased the spectrum in 2020. adding more levels, competitions, and more characters; including combiners. yes there are pay to play options, but they aren't necessary. currency can be gained thru missions. keep the missions going and you'll keep a steady income of free gems. I love AB-TF. my overall rank is 1,505 (motormaster). playing since day one never hacked or cheated. never spent a dime either. I've got almost every character, each at least fully ranked at 15, with many above that. patience is key on upgrades. it takes time and currency but well worth it in the end. because you'll do a lot better in competition. plus theyve got accessories that increase and add to their abilities, and then it becomes a lot more fun....

I'll be honest, I didn't know this game was both still up and still getting continuous updates. Honestly I'm pretty impressed.

 

Kup is going to be the next character in this game.

 

My review:
A Mediocre game. A good ol' pay-to-play. And jeez, the nostalgia.
Alright, I admit, I only played to getting Barricade. After that, my game crashed and sent me back to square one. I tolerated it, and tried again. I got to Barricade again... and it crashed.
SO STUPID.
And the character models/choices- a weird Bayformers/G1 mix with... what the heck is Ultra Magnus supposed to be? Why no armor? And then halfway through, they switched to G1 designs. Make up your minds, Rovio!
Other than that, it was fun enough. An Angry Birds shooter with Transformers in the mix is great.

 

Downloaded this game again.
It's awesome seeing old characters as angry birds(I grew up with angry birds) but the gameplay gets a little boring after awhile.

 

Warpath up next! his gun looks bad ass too. everything explodes, and I mean everything. BLAM! BOOM! POW!

 

It's an interesting choice for sure, but I doubt Warpath will be a very popular character in this game.

 

I cant believe this game has hit the 5 year anniversary mark. that free 2000 tokens helped me upgrade my Strongarm to level 16. one thing that comes to mind, playing since day 1, is that this game still has me just as interested now, as I was 5 years ago when I downloaded it. rovio has done a great job of improving gameplay, adding venues, and working out all the little quarks.

theres an update available as of today. another new character coming up. 1 space left in Instruments of Destruction, obviously gonna be Twincast (I think they're saving him for last) 2 spaces left in Combiners. my guess is Menasor & Defensor. also 2 slots left in VIP, my guess for those is Jetfire & Cyclonus, and/or maybe Orion Pax. we'll find out soon enough! cheers y'all.
