@TTemploy in this particular case, I believe he works in retail in Japan and often gets insider info from a 'friend' on forthcoming releases. Pretty much everything he has predicted has come to fruition, so he's pretty reliable and as far as I know not bias towards G1 or pushing his own agenda. Indeed he 'leaked' both Blackarachnia and Lio Convoy's box contents price and release date.

Maybe now I've quoted him so many times he'll pop in to 'explain himself' I assume the 'negative phrasing' is just what he is passing on from his insider source. Not wanting to be specific the guys said "well...all I can say is it's not Beast Wars"

In most cases these rumours come from a guy who knows a guy who works for or adjacent to TT in some shape or form. Some people might be fabricating 'fake news' but they'd get found out pretty quickly.

 

Big Convoy for sure, to me! I love the look of Lio and having a Big to go along with? *Chef kiss* Perfect.

 

Of the options in the poll Wazzzzpinator being next would be great, but I'd love it even more if Takara throw us a curveball and put out Silverbolt next. A Mastepiece Fuzor would be amazing. Of course what I really want is a Masterpiece Torca, but given he'd have to be absolutely gigantic he'd probably be like, schfifty five thousand dollary-doos.

We all know the difference between wish lists and speculation surely? I know I'm not allowed to openly criticise the mods here and I appreciate it's a thankless task, but c'mon guys let's have some consistency!

Normally in this sequence BW would be 50, he was merely stating this time it wasn't. Either its neither series or they are doing their back to back g1 at 49/50.

 

This is actually one of my most wanted masterpieces for a few years now. I wish some third party would pick it up and do it right.

 

I played with Magnaboss more than any other BW toy. All of the indigenous styling cues went right over my head when I was a child, the way I see him now is completely different than in the past (appropriation). Glad my mind and ideology was more pure in intention rather than contemporary self-criticism.
Magnaboss has all the heavy hitters, Ironhide, Prowl and Silverbolt... come on.

In my opinion, Big convoy does not deserve anymore attention... he has shell-formed for much too long.

Not really, it was my bad, simple as that.

 

I wasn’t saying negative as in ‘a bad thing’ or something I’m unhappy about; more-so just commenting on how they focus outright on ruling out a Beast Wars release as opposed to affirming a particular brand.
It’s something of a small mercy, in a sense, so we won’t go getting our hopes up too much now when the likelihood is that we’ve got a fair wait ahead of us before there’s anything new to get pumped about.

 

People could just use the search function but no, better doubt no matter what.  
As soon as I have confirmation about the mp50, I will let you know, if somebody else won't leak it in the meantime

Mistakes happen, It's really distracting though...any chance you can 'de-merge'? Poor @lord ginrai has had his thread closed, reopened and merged with a thread asking a different question all in the space of a week! Wish lists and speculation are different topics.

Cheers! Your info has always been spot on thus far so no reason to doubt it. I think we're all getting a little stir crazy waiting for BWMP news, knowing that another BW release is so far away is too much for some of us  

 

In this instance, doubting you that the next MP isn’t Beast Wars related is totally because I don’t want to believe it and using the search function wouldn’t have yielded the same results in giving the background information on your reliability and previous accuracy with info-leaks that Booster provided so I find it’s always preferable to ask people for information because I ended up with far more than just the origin of the statement.
