I am actually curious as to whether they'll include a Ravage or not, given that Barricade didn't come with Frenzy and they've already already completed the first movie cast

They should've went with leader class. He would be a deluxe and the satellite would form his toy orginal minions.

 

I don’t see why they wouldn’t, they are releasing Laserbeak with the DOTM mold so it only makes sense. I’m seriously excited about this release. ROTF Soundwave is still one of my favorite molds from that line.

Satellite was always so fitting for Soundwave, so I'm glad that version is getting a toy. I don't know where anyone's getting Leader Class from, we've never seen him in relation to anyone and given his Mercedes was a deluxe and they don't change sizes often except for Megatron, it makes sense this one be a deluxe as well

Edit: While I'm thinking about it, I'll be really pissed if Soundwave comes with Ravage because then Barricade would be the only person to not come with his little guy, unless they release, say, a DOTM version with Frenzy instead of the arm thing. Frenzy needs more representation

 

@Kaynowa: Barricade seriously needs a redo. With reports of cracking rubber and fragile translucent plastic in his hinge joints, I’m disappointed in what we got. He needs Frenzy and stronger hinges.

Tempted by ROTF Soundwave. If the final toy looks good, I might get him.

Well this is a great surprise! Definitely holding off on DOTM Soundwave now.

Seems like Hasbro is getting serious about finishing up the ROTF AND DOTM casts at a relatively fast pace. Good on them!

 

Not too interested with the DOTM version on the horizon, but Reedman finally getting a figure as a pack-in would tip me to instabuy.

Will be curious to see if they just reference concept art for the bot mode like they've been doing with the Constructicons.

Oh my gosh. This is EXACTLY the figure I have been wanting!!! Agree 1000% with everyone who has stated it would be better if he were Leader-sized. AT LEAST Voyager-sized. But then again, so should have SS Bonecrusher been. It's unfortunate. People don't seem to realize how big of an entity Soundwave should really be. He seemed appropriately-sized in ROTF, but much too small in DOTM.

Maybe we'll luck out and at least he'll be a larger-than-average Deluxe??!??
