Kong's been hitting the gym, Godzilla's gonna feel that slug next week.

 

Boy this looks awesome

 

Kong looks absolutely massive, but Godzilla looks to tower over him. It looks so freaking one-sided, and I love it, lol. Kong had better hope he doesn’t get knocked off the carrier, less he wants to see how Ghidorah lost his head the first time.

 

Is it just me or are Godzilla and Kong about to brawl on an aircraft carrier in the 2nd pic?

 

I think they are how they haven't crushed it yet baffles me

Round 1 - an aircraft carrier on the ocean!

 

Godzilla survived the Permian extinction, which means he's at the very least over 251 million years old (of course, coming from some unspecified ancient time of radioactive wonder, he's likely much much older). Kong's age is not specified, but with his earliest appearance in 1944 portraying him as young, he's probably not much older than a century or two.

In short, this film is the giant monster equivalent of a classic conflict between an old fart and a young whippersnapper.

 

Huh? The clip I watched yesterday shows Kong standing pretty much eye-to-eye with Godzilla now. The little fella evidently had a growth spurt.

 

Godzilla 2014 - While it may not have the greatest characters in the franchise, it is a truly well made spectacle with just enough monster action to keep you going. Not to mention the gorgeous cinemtography, especially from the Halo jumping scene. 8/10

 

Shin Godzilla - Still not sure how I feel about this one. It's not a bad movie, but it's not a good Godzilla movie. I also do not need to know the name and location to every single room the characters go to, nor the names of every single person and job description who is vastly insignificant to the movie. There's only about 5 characters that actually matter, and those are the only ones I need to know about. Everyone else is just background noise. Oh yeah, there's a Godzilla somewhere in this film hidden away as if this were a "Where's Godzilla?" page. Not sure/10.

 

I survived Hedorah! Gigan wasn't terrible though
