Got my GameStop GX-88 yesterday and it came in perfect shape. They even used bubble packing materials; what a novel idea! Once I get a chance to open it up and verify nothing is wrong with the actual toy inside, I'll be sending back the one from Amazon with crushed corners. Wonder if I should use the bubble packing materials GameStop was nice enough to use or just send it back loose in the box to Amazon like they sent it to me...
Even easier, just use an Amazon locker (if available). No having to deal with bubble wrap. But yeah, I'd probably bubble wrap it and return. Could be funnier and use the Gamestop box!
For new owners of GX-88, when you're removing the forearms, place your fingers on the back or sides of the forearm so you don't accidentally cut yourself from the top fin of the helicopter ruggers.
Don't have any lockers close by, or at least closer than a UPS Store, so I usually just select to drop off there. But yeah I'll probably just throw the Amazon one right back into the GS box and drop it off, but it is just a plain box so they wouldn't even know once I take the label off (or care I'm sure). Moral of the story anyway - don't order from Amazon unless you don't care about the box or have no other choice.
Can someone tell me how tall GX-71 is? BBTS lists it as 10.6", but I'm not sure if that includes wings or not.
