Whether or not Trenchfoot was meant to be Pinpointer, he is now. Given that one of his Wave mate’s Targetmasters was in the Phantomstrike set it makes sense now that Crosshairs’ was in the Alphastrike set.

Surprisingly I keep liking this mould more every time I get a new figure. Ironhide was cool, my boy Ratchet is sublime, but I really, really like this blue and red colour scheme and head sculpt. And yes @rlmiddleton, his side panels stay on! Ratchets were alright, but I just ham fisted Crosshairs into alt mode and neither came close to falling off.

 

Some of the best standalone Transformers figures ever, IMHO.

Looking at them again recently and decided to post the full size ones as it shows how nice the faces and deco of these SIEGE toys are.
So happy with the line overall. I may return to these "profile" style photos (that I took for my Tf blog) and do some more with the toys I picked up later in the line.

It's strange, I grew up on G1 during the original run of the cartoon etc, but for some reason I just don't have any excitement about collecting many of the OG guys like Ironhide and Prowl etc. I don't hate the characters, and the Siege versions are good, but getting their toys just isn't super exciting to me.

On the other hand anything S3+ I want them all! Headmasters, Targetmasters etc, gimme!!

Basically if I've got my Soundwave with tapes, Dinobots and combiners I've realised I'm really only interested in stuff movie-S4/JPN Headmaster era.

Assembling the Decepticon 'new jet' guys like Triggerhappy I loved doing, sooo excited for Snapdragon, Scorpy and Sky Lynx etc to come but have zero interest in Omega Supreme. I find it odd.

I'm like you. I don't feel the need to team build the entire autobot force again.
I did get siege ratchet, Ironhide and crosshairs though.
Love most of the target masters though.
Bought "skyfire" but will pass on Omega supreme unless he goes down in price.
Try using jetfire's rifle as a replacement cannon for hardhead or quake.

It's awesome.
After scorpinok is released, I'm on the down slope of collecting I think....got both sets of reflector, the whole team of tetra jets.

I'd hold out for a repaint/remold of Titan Trypticon into gigastorm.
Otherwise unless we get more beast wars cybertronian modes , I'm going to be thru collecting and on the process of getting rid of unneeded tf's.

Got some siege deluxes in the mail yesterday, plan on cracking these moldmates open today.


Really curious to see how crosshairs looks in relation to the Orion pax that used the kup molds. Wasn’t expecting the grimlock-esque head.

To me, this guy has the face of a gobot, so that’s who I’ll likely display him with (am cykill, dx9 crasher & dx9 cykillsplinter)

 

Your not the only one... in getting impatient waiting on crosshairs but I’ve passed up ratchet and ironhide 3 time with no urge to buy. Wheel jack is alive and hoist and grapple are a must.

 

I appreciate the Siege G1 Refraktor pack's RRP is usually insane, but if it's ever on sale like at In Demand Toys here in the UK grab it. The camera mode is absolutely worth it, total showpiece.

Actually ordered another one to split into the three bots!

Also another Spinister; that dude's brilliant in both modes, really dynamic in every way and the colours that might look initially horrible really are great when he's posed.

 

Spinster was one of my favorite characters in marvel...don’t ask me why. If I find him in the wild I’ll pick him up. I’m not hurting for deceptions. Siege has bolstered their ranks. Time for more Autobots

Yeah, very happy to see how many Autobots are getting full-on G1 looks for Earthrise.

 

Some Ironhide lovin' today. I think he works a lot better with Soundwave & Soundblaster's guns. He always struck me as a John Wayne sixguns kind of guy.
