Could there still be a sliver of chance for maybe the 2022 season having the wwii bots?

I think the ones that are unlikely to get a Studio series figure are...

    Junk Heap
    Two Head
    Infernacus
    Nitro Zeus

And I hope I'm wrong, but Sideways.

Is junkheap the dump truck that splits into three? If so I would die if they did a studio series release of him. Super cool design and idea. Plus I love combiners

I have just created a review thread for SS Arcee/Chromia/Elita-1! Please check it out! It's packed with pics and includes a lot of detail about the figures!

The 2011 DOTM line was a mixed bag for me. On 1 hand I LOVED the offscreen figures like Terradive and Skyhammer as well as some of the Human Alliance toys. Dug leader Ironhide and the Sentinel Primes, in addition to the fully articulated Cyberverse figures.

However most of the mainline felt underwhelming and the SS DOTM figures for the most part, are better to me than the 2011 DOTM figures. I'm glad some of the crew at Haskaromy decided to do justice to DOTM 8 some years later. Deco definitely took a hit back then, I remember thinking "man this stuff is bland".

Looking forward to SS Sentinel Prime, hope the cape and weapons are accurate.

Toysrus.ca has wave 8 Deluxes in stock.

    However, I don't trust them.

I've orders some stuff from them and I have not heard over a week about when my order has been shipped.

I completely agree. My original DOTM toys quickly hit the sales pile when Studio Series was proving how good it is.

The 2nd Shatter and Dropkick SS figures almost feel like apologies for the first ones.

Going forward in the case of future TF films, Hasbro should wait till they get access to the cgi models before working on the Studio Series figures and give the designers more time.

All the other lines can base their stuff off concept art and rush to get their stuff on shelves in time for film releases, while the Studio Series can wait.

That’s assuming another film will release before the line ends.

I'm very tempted to order them and see if they ship this week. TRU did get MPM Jazz in way before a lot of other retailers.
