For sure - I’m just trying to justify getting that set to myself apparently. I don’t think I’d totally put them adjacent but have it in a “park” nearby to tie the color in a little. Either that or try to cobble together some more birch trees to make it fit more.
That new modular looks great. The price is... not so great but still okay. Though when I see the kid with the plane, I can't help but think of Untitled Goose Game.
Hmm, there seems to be an extra piece on the mini batmobile (piece 6174919, that beige one)...can’t seem to find it anywhere in the instruction, it's driving me crazy, lol
Yeah, seems to be a mistake of some sort. Doesn't seem to have a purpose, and isn't mentioned in the instructions outside of the parts list.
That modular is a nice return back to the older building designs. I can see picking up a couple to mix and match to make up a set of row houses.
It is official. I am buying my first Modular come January, that Bookshop is going to be my first. Because I still need Ninjago City and Ninjago City Docks and all the rest, why not start with a new model first.
Both of those Ninjago sets are retiring this year so don't wait any longer if they are on your need list. Amazon is sold out already, they were on sale recently and now I think they are done.
I think they were 30% off at the Lego shop during Black Friday weekend as well. Depends where you live, Costco and Toys R Us Canada still have them in stock last I checked
As they are not Modulars, officially, I am not worried. After payday on Friday I'll see what happens and maybe get one... depends on price. I mean, I did just get Voltron.
