Yeah I use them all the time, some times it can be a couple days before they ship, or it get held up in customs, but usually you get it in a week or two. Have you checked the tracking number? Could be since it's a rare item they have to find it in the warehouse.

They're reliable. I ordered from them in September. It usually takes around 1 to 2 weeks to Toronto. I don't think it updates from pending until it's delivered.

Somehow reliable. They are not going to keep your money, but I had an issue with them. I bought a couple of toys, one of them not available anywhere else, and they wrote me an email telling me they run out of stock of that hard to find bot. They asked me to choose another item, which I did.

My problem is this happened to me twice, so I'm not so inclined to buy from them so much as I did before.

Anyway, I'm sure you don't have to fear for your money.

Totally reliable in my experience. Have you sent an email? Tony's always been good at getting back to me when I had a question.

I’ve only had good experiences. Typical long shipping time though.

Yeah if you have a tracking number check it. I have one I already got last week that still says processing. Also sometimes their e-mails can end up in your recycle bin, so click on your order details and see if there is a tracking number.

Haven’t used them since the name was changed from Chimungmung. However, had no complaints back then, just shipping is a tad pricey. Great resource for things that are out of stock everywhere else.

I got a couple rare IF bots from him, and a bunch of others.

The only issue is that the stock doesn’t update on his site when something goes out of stock, he has to do that manually.

One time I ordered Iron Factory Starscream and it was delayed, it didn’t ship as fast as it normally does. (Usually his shipping is super fast). I emailed him asking if there was a problem and it turned out that someone had bought the one I paid for before me, and he had spent the time looking for a different one he could sell me. He did locate one and sent me pictures, I could either take that one or get a refund.

It actually turned out to be a better deal for me because it had other parts that weren’t in the original listing.

So maybe something like that happened.

I actually think Robotoybase is quite good, he really helped me fill out my IF collection.

Yeah. Used to be chimugmung. I've spent a fair bit of cash over the years with them.

    Good source for older stock.

Robotoybase has been super reliable for me and pretty fast shipping as well. It's the high shipping costs that's the thing about them.

Good to know he’s reliable, I’ve only used them once before about 2 or 3 years ago.

I found out they used to be chimungmung toy shop from like a decade ago which I frequented before discovering BBTS in my early days of collecting, so I gave robotoybase a shot.

I bought items that were sold out everywhere else from them twice this past summer for the first time. Both times I received the items in about 8-10 days to the U.S./Oregon.

edit: I think it's peak post office season, so things might be a little slow overseas?

No problems, Tony is always helpful, especially if a third party figure has missing or incorrect parts, he will always try and get you a replacement.

Pricey postage, yes, but will usually have items in stock that other don’t. Excellent service.

They are my usual go to. Never had a problem with them and if if I've had a issue with something I bought Tony has always sorted me out.

I'm curious if you ever got your Quakewave from Robo Toy Base; I was considering ordering one also.
