it’s not an excuse it’s a law. Yes YouTube screwed up bad which caused all this and they are at fault over but it is a law that’s being enforced. Other platforms are still available but those places didn’t violate any laws.

Doesn’t look like they’re too eager on selling them just yet. [IMG] upload_2019-12-7_14-13-33.jpeg

if the pegs are full that’s what they do. That’s how I had to find wave of two of siege because the shelf was already full

This seems solvable with a trip to the cleaning aisle for a broom.

That's not how pricing in other countries works. Our prices don't fluctuate based on currency exchange with USD. Canadian companies set their own prices based on their own costs.

The other thing that people fail to take into account is that it costs more to ship products into and across Canada. So yes, products almost always cost more relative to the US.

Lol I was gonna ask, but I've been waiting to get smokescreen since august, and the rainmakers were eating my wallet.

Or down to the Star Wars section. Lightsabers are very useful in getting things off high places. Thanks George :D

Mattel should just hire PixelDan full time. He’s that enthusiastic about what they do and skilled at building an audience. Take all those Mattel cartoons on YouTube and give Dan host segments where he talks toy and character history and waves around new toys. Give him a DC All Access style show.

The other big ones are rough as brand ambassadors. Shartimus is great but the whole “shart” thing and risqué jokes are probably not what Hasbro wants. But they could get somebody like him as a temp by throwing a bunch of comps at him to gush over, maybe buying him a lighting booth/equipment, and having him come out as a paid guest to oversee online con coverage. They probably just wouldn’t want him as a public facing employee but IMHO it SHOULD be worth $2-10k annual sponsorship for toy companies to throw at bigger reviewers who are rough around the edges and actively hiring folks like Dan who are fairly uncontroversial and kid friendly to do official shows.

Only AnthonysCustoms stands out to me as “journalism” and it’s kind of nitpicky. TFman Chill Reviews or EmGo whatever and the stuff hosted by TFormers and Fwoosh and TFW strike me as fairly friendly reviews that could make Patreon work because they have community. Most of what we need as fans and what these reviewers offer is showrooming.

And it SHOULD work for companies to bankroll the less critical ones, while communities like TFW2k5 should be able to make Patreon work. Although I think maybe Patreon is the wrong format for some folks. The membership thing makes more sense for organized communities to run. If it’s just a lone wolf reviewer breaking even, I’d rather they run one off annual Kickstarters for their collecting/equipment needs than paywall content they weren’t really making a living from anyway.

And Hasbro finally did it, it moved the Transformers brand to a more Marvel Legends and DC territory with the BAF idea and the same price. By the way, from now on I will call Cyberverse BAF as BOB, Build A Bot! :D

They actually look good, for what they are. Love the Decepticon and Autobot symbols. Optimus even has a matrix! Not sure if I'm going to get them all, BOB is not of my interest. Hope a more interesting character for the next BOB but at least going to get Prime and Megatron.
