The thighs aren't doing much.

 

Yeah I'd be into that. I don't hate MP-44. I really like a few things about the figure but there's enough I'm was lukewarm about that the price totally I was totally put off. Like you put it there's other things offering better value for money out there that I'd rather spend my money on. However if MP-44 was offered at this sort of price I'd bite.

Cool. Of course I wasn't suggesting no backpack at all just something more reduced, heroic looking and show accurate. As it is MP-44 look like he's on a perpetual camping trip.

Replace the current thighs with thighs that have a voice box in them.

 

But he looks frail compared to MP 10... plus that backpack. I know MP44 is probably the better figure, but he just looks visually worse to me.

 

My thoughts on the war -
- MS-01 is neat, but he looks akward in most poses
- TE-01 is the best figure of the three, it is solid and clean as a whistle
- MP-44 is the best Optimus Prime; it looks heroic while just standing in place, it can pull off poses in ways that look so natural, and less like blocks being rearranged; paint chipping will always be a thing, and it's unreasonable to not expect it on a figure that is coated head to toe in paint, since you're already paying $200 in HasTak taxes, you should ne able to afford some paint to touch it up once and a while, but if you don't care for that, TE-01 is right there at a forth of the price.

 

You seem a bit in need of an urgent sight check.

im confident in my toy preferences and so are you. i just dont think i should bow down to an explosive 400$ toy.

 

Most of us didn’t. We got it for quite a bit less.

 

that makes sense, but i still think its way too much for all the QC even if its 250$ or how ever cheap somebody bought it for. if somebody legit likes the toy even with flaws.. totally cool by me,more power to them. but i definitely dont agree with people saying its the epitome of optimus toy and that im "blind" for saying its flawed. cough cough, darwin.

We don't think mp-44 doesn't have any flaws. Just as you prefer the 3p, some of us prefer mp-44. why cant you understand that? We don't defend mp-44 because we dropped "$400" on a toy. We bought a "$400" toy that we would gladly defend.
Don't ruin it for everyone else who is having fun and please don't play the victim. you did this to yourself.

 

So I hadn't noticed the Decepticon insignia wasn't purple until it was mentioned here. I think it's not colored because they'd have to actually change the existing painting process to add the new color/application instead of just swapping out the Autobot "pattern" for the Decepticon one. It works for Optimus's regular colors because he's already red like the Autobot insignia. Of course, I know nothing about how all this really works, but that's how I figure it. I kind of like how the outline matches with how it works on Optimus Prime since it has to be outlined for him.

 

That’s actually a good point. Except that the paint on the legs and arms are now the same. So I don’t know what’s going on there. I still hope we get some labels that we can just add on, maybe some Autobot ones as well.

 

I got to admit, the more I look at the images the more I'm digging it. I'm kind of keen on how the black paint blends the panel lines on the alt mode better. Visually the one thing that irked my soul about MP 44 was the panel lines on the alt mode at the front of the Cab.

52, It's kind of hard go see 2 decepticon emblems back to back. Eith 49 being a bad guy my money is 50 is on Autobot.

 

i dont know whos genuinely getting upset here... what does "unprovoked" mean when a person just clicks on a thread about a toy to you? like someone baited me? i wanted to voice an opposing opinion. this is a discussion thread isnt it, not a worship thread? if its a worship thread, my bad. i guess theres no other reason for forums to exist. i was preferring a discussion about it but all people gave me was "its good and thats a fact" or literally stating their preferences as fact so i answered back. people get heated too easily at opposing opinions. there are no winners here. did you actually expect everyone to come here to have one uniform opinion? if you see this as me dropping a bomb, you probably feel very strongly about this toy which is fine, but people are acting like i insulted their mothers. i simply dont think theres anything wrong with saying anything about a toy on a thread for that toy.
