No, that is MAS (Mega Action Series) gigantic non-transforming Megatron that was below in the display at this last TFCon. Remember, if you're not looking at a prototype display at a Chinese toy show, you aren't seeing anything new.

Picked up the ms01x (metallic one) last month. Its not bad but the paint definitely has issues (bubble on hip section) and its not that metallic when it comes to paint.

    I digress though.

Does anyone or has anyone had issues with the ankle tilts (both ankles) being floppy and having zero hold to them? I can't tell if I missed something in the transformation but nothing in the instructions indicate that I did.

I want a "toy" version of this guy, with the toy paint job (chrome pants etc) and a toyesque head sculpt from TE or MS. I'd prefer it be from MS - I think their version lends itself better to the toy aesthetic - but honestly the first one to make a toy prime, gets my money... unless it's Takara. Fuck Takara and their $450 overpriced Optimus.

@Snaku I can do without the chrome legs, but otherwise agreed. Would also be content with more MP-10 based colours, which had very toy like dark blue legs and a very nice shade of (light) gloss red.

Would really like a trailer for this, how much longer can they leave it?

Yeah it surprises me too that they haven't done one. It's such a simple construct from a design aspect so not a lot of work there. You can go as detailed as you want or just make it a "box" on wheels and go simple. Either way, it would be a very easy money grab in my opinion that most people would get if it was priced right.

Since they have a trailer for the Legends size one, it's not like they don't have a basic design to go from.

At this point, though, I'm not sure I want a trailer for it. I guess it would depend on what the cost was, but it's just something else I need to find space for. LOL

Is there even a way to attach anything to the back of the truck?

There are little notches so they could easily make an adaptor to plug in...honestly I always suspected that's what those notches were going to be for. :p

On the legends scale one, the trailer just sort of rests in a groove. The two figures are not identical so they might have had other plans for a hitch for the MP scale one.

What’s a good description of how this guys plastic feels? Especially on the metallic version?

Fine honestly. Not thin or anything that's going to be brittle and snap or flex and distort. The only thing I can say (since I have the original) is his finish feels a little "rough" to the touch, but that's because how they painted him and then overcoated it. If he had a nice smooth Fans Toys glossy paint job, it'd probably feel just like one of those from a plastic standpoint, if that helps.

The metallic is probably the same materials underneath.

What sort of a rough feeling would you describe it as? I generally like smooth plastic similar to MP 10. it's not a rough feeling like those older KFC hands for MP10 is it?

So... Are there any other versions of this coming out? And are any of them cell shaded? Been playing devastation... And this prime looks the closest to the in game model. REALLY want one painted up like that.

Does every copy of this have the same scratch at the top right of the right leg? Seems it's visible in every youtube video I've watched... it's quite the eyesore...

The ones with metallic paint on the thigh, yeah. I mean, I've noticed it on the regular metallic and the white ones (didn't pay so much attention to the others). It's not on the original matte one, though.
