Pretty sure the club (staff head) is borrowing from BMB as it looks like the club hides in the neck. Cant tell on the staff itself but it can easily be hidden. The wrecking ball though, thats either really well hidden or its 'parts forming'.

Complexity only takes you so far, having owned their shuraking line, and seen 100s of reviews for their ultra maxamas, i will wait until it gets reviewed before i preorder/buy. When it came to IDW optimus i went for the generation toys version as it may not have looked as nice but was far more friendly to transform.

 

So, based on their Weibo comments, this isn't due to release until middle of next year, with a price estimate of 700CNY ($99USD). Has anyone heard any updates on scale recently? I vaguely remember he was originally planned to be 40cm in bot mode (just a smidge taller than BMB OS SS Grimlock), but that is likely no longer accurate?

The mace head is the thickest part of the tail, notice the top spikes can be found behind the legs; the staff part and wrecking ball are accessories, I assume.

Well, what he lacks in size he'll hopefully make up for in design and detail. I suppose he could always work as a more SS-scale accurate version of Grimlock as well. As completely unlikely as it would be, still really hoping for something the size of Stomp and Chomp Grimlock with movie-accruate details.

 

He'd be neat at around 15"; I hope a company can makes legends class KV figures, Knightverse Optimus is my favorite design, and I would love to have that version ride this beast.

 

Looks sick! Transformation is the deciding factor for purchase... Looking forward to seeing more!

 

I think either ss or other ko upscale has their special own features, but hopefully, I noticed this figure early enough and decided to get him without a doubt. Today, after g-creation spends so much time dealing with him, it turns out that he is truly something more than a masterpiece, and the waiting time definitely worths it. The only thing that I hope they can do well is QC. (because their previous figures really weren't that great.)

By the way, based on their reply on their weibo page, this guy transforms like he did in the movie. Can't wait to see his transformation.

 

I also found out about this guy early on, when it was announced in 2017, though I didn't know what TFW was yet; this guy is probably going to be my center peace; I honestly might try and paaint him up in my own colors - Matte Black Base, Glossy Metallic Cherry Red Secondary, Yellow-Gold Accents, and an Aqua Blue for an energon glow.

The three biggest lines are G1, IDW, and Bayverse/Knightverse, and yet only two of them have a legends class, I hope a company starts making some legends class figures for the movies; since the movies are the smallest of the lines, I would prefer they just start with Knightverse figures, AKA, I WANT ME DANG BB OPTIMUS TO RIDE THIS BIG BOY.

If you're speaking about Dino face... Not sure. The left shoulder is bottom part of Dino face

 

Nope, or atleast not to my knowledge; they are doing the bots from the BB movie, and I hope to someday also own that version of Optimus and pose him along side this guy. In a perfect world I'd get a titan class Grimlock - Optimus 9.5" - Grimlock 20"/15".
AOE/TLK Grimlock may have an ugly face, but his overall bot mide look gives him enough coolness points to override that, but in t-rex mode, he is by far my favorite version of Grimlock; I love how the Dinobots had new features in the movies.
- Grimlock gets devil horns
- Slag gets lower jaw horns
- Scorn exists and has 3 spines
- Strafe ge-, I actually hate the 2 head idea, it just doesn't make any sense since he only has one head in bot mode
So this Grimlock with my favorite Optimus, Knightverse, would make for one epic display; it's G1, but cool.

 

I'm fine with this, the weakest link out of the three for me, has to be Bumblebee, not the figure, but the design, I wish they had gone less cutesy, I hope his design changes over time, like maybe a regular face, and a more proportionate body.
