    I did the same mod. I bought metal dowel pins from amazon. 1mm I think? And I used a pen vise to drill a mini hole straight through the hinge and the pin was a perfect size. I have an entire mini box full of 100s of these pins and can send you some.

    CAD model Roadbuster obviously looks better in the paint department but I don't care. The physical toy still looks amazing!!! I'm gonna buy 2. Without a doubt.
