Looks like 3 more wins for the Studio series line! I am really liking all 3, especially Roadbuster and Shatter.

 

Wow that Shatter and Roadbuster look great can't wait to add them to my shelves.

 

You do realize why they're going with the attack modes over the normal NASCAR alt-modes, right? All that extra junk covers up the corporate logos, so they only have to license the alt mode as with every other Studio Series toy. They were never gonna get two licenses for just a single deluxe. So this is the only way the Wreckers can happen in this toyline.

 

That Roadbuster is definitely going to replace my original DOTM figure.

IS anyone going to attempt to switch heads with Studio Series Shatter Car mode and Studio Series Shatter Jet mode?


Plus, does anyone notice Bumblebee's chest is fake?

Damn, they all look fantastic. Only problem is now I feel like I've gotta get the cruddy helicopter Dropkick to go with this new Shatter

That is a fantastic figure. I made it my 2018 pick. Very under appreciated and was retooled into new Drift which no one complains about

To be fair, you can't get a decent chest out of THAT vehicle.

 

That looks to be the first screen accurate Roadbuster anyone has pulled off. the 3P deluxe came closer than anything else, but the chest was wrong.

I made the decision to give up collecting a while ago...but man, that Jeep Bee calls to me. Maybe if he gets really good reviews (and looks equally good in-person, and if I have the money at the time) I'll pick him up. I'll consider him a replacement for Beetle Bee.

If that Shatter was a muscle car, I'd probably be temped to buy her and Dropkick. But the lack of consistency has kept me from buying either. Dropkick looks cool, but I don't want him without an equally good automobile Shatter. This Shatter looks great, but I'm not interested in Jet Shatter. Which is probably for the better, because I probably shouldn't spend that much anyway.

 

Looks good, but something about the bot mode makes this Hound feel unnatural? lol

 

Except for the head HA is still the best. The head was the whole reason I got the TFDream factory version. That was the first version to have a screen accurate head, and the screen accurate head was so much better than the mullet.

 

I was planning to only pick up Roadbuster, but seeing the new images is making me want the other two as well.
