Roadbuster looks amazing!!!! I don't care what anybody says! Yes he might have a backpack but this, THIS is the weaponized version of Dale Jr.'s car we deserved in 2011!!! I. Am. Hyped!!!!!!!

I've found that to be a problem with the movie-lines from nearly the beginning. Even with how much the Studio Series has stepped up the game, a lot of the designs just don't translate well into a toy with part counts and that has to obey the laws of physics.

That said, Shatter and Bee look fantastic and I want them.

Shatter finally looks Screen Accurate, Roadbuster looks good, and Bee... Every time I look at the boi, I\'m reminded we need a Blitzwing in this line, seriously

 

Not really excited for any of these, tbh. I hate how reliant the engineering is on backpacks. At the very least break it up and put it more evenly elsewhere, like calves or forearms.

Agreed, I think it's a great design. Just not a great representation of Dropkick (in robot mode).

 

I still really like that DOTM Topspin. they could do a couple new parts for that and re-release that mold easily. Drop some of the mechtek port parts, re-engineer the weapon pods a bit and id be happy enough to buy it again. Drop the lame weapons he came with and give us the proper modded brownings with belts and that would be a fan fav.

Ive never owned the deluxe leadfoot. Part of me says go on ebay now and buy that KO..the other part says wait..its possible the studio will do it again and better.

Ive said it a bunch of times..but Studio is killin it. FINALLY..a proper adult collectable retail TF with realistic alt modes. This is my FAV line since human alliance.

 

man, roadbuster really symbolizes the entire design mantra of studio series carbots. plop a backpack on it, give it a fake chest, make the arms hollow...

 

I haven’t had the 2011 version out in years, but didn’t that one have a backpack as well, so not like that aspect would be a step back.

 

That Jeep Bee is absolutely going to he reused as a Bee Movie Hound at some point.

I was kinda hoping we might actually get her Harrier alt-mode, but nope---seems like a "license-avoiding fantasy jet that is quite Harrier-esque without actually being a Harrier".

Can you imagine if Hasbro decided to make Topspin and Leadfoot weaponless just to f-ck with us folks waiting for a full weaponised team since 2011 lmao
