Looks kinda like it's supposed to be the Genesic version of the Pliers.

very jealous! As Red Geist was a grail for me I would love a representation of him. Besides that I’m on the hunt for the complete J Decker squad and more King J Ders as they arrive.

Were you able to acquire a DX Red Geist for your collection? I was very addicted to the Deathsaurus/Red Geist mold for quite awhile and now have a ridiculous 10+ copies of various versions in my collection, no room to display most of them though. I was lucky to find 2 nice RG cels and 5 other really oddball Brave cels and this was my favorite of the bunch, wish I bought more when I had the chance.

I did! It took a while since he’s hard to come by now but I eventually found one on eBay… just before finding two more for cheaper at Tfcon a week later XD. I follow a few sellers who occasionally post a few cels. Even though I know they’re not particularly rare or even wanted, it’s cool to own a one of kind piece of memorabilia from my favorite toyline.

And that's why they're great to buy, rare pieces that us fans can actually get on the cheap. Cel of Deathsaurus: $1000, cel of Red Geist $25 :)

I guess what I'm trying to say is it's a nostalgic piece that we can get for a deal. I mean, they don't exactly use animation cels for this stuff anymore, happy to have some sort of equivalent that's fits in my collection.

plus it’s a cool art piece for both your collection and for your favorite characters. Trust me, getting a clear backed frame will make that thing shine.

My local discount stores have been long devoid of interesting knockoffs, until I stumbled over the train dude at TMInc - Advenger, I think? Not a bad looking robot, though in this particular package I don't quite get the giant shield. Can't seem to go anywhere - was it part of the original toy? At the moment I'm just using it as a vague display base.

Joints mostly okay as KOs go, although on my copy the panels were extra-floppy and the waist spin was scary tight. Makes a better train than I was expecting too, though since none of the firing missiles fire, there is one flaw - the little vertical SRM-4's missiles means the train can't sit flat. Might cut those off later.

For six bucks, worth a shot. In the grand tradition of renaming crappy knockoffs, I shall call him Rail Baron.

The shield is meant to be a extra train section for Golgon and Kaiser to ride on IIRC.

Ahh, interesting! It doesn't have wheels on the KO, just nubs, and engine dude didn't actually have a coupler on my sample anyway. It's not a bad display base as-is.

Hey! I just finished ordering fancy dancy new stickers for my Dinogeist! “But Tedimus” I hear you say, “Hasn’t your Dinogeist had replacement stickers before?” Yes. Three times. But I’ve not been happy with them before so this time I spent a lot more time making them. Not only did I clean up the art and make all stickers and die lines symmetrical, but I also worked with our teams graphic designer to make sure they were as close to the original as possible. On top of that, they are going to be printed in high quality vinyl, so I’m very excited to apply them. They were relatively cheap, only about 11 dollars before shipping, so if anyone decides to want any please let me know. I might be willing to also do this on commission for other stickers provided there are scans.
