New photos plus ecto now has a chair like the turtles party van and Spoiler Goozer may have ties to the bad guy Rumor but if true may be a spoiler in video. (or just a fun easter egg in the film.)

If Murray actually came back to this one instead of being legally forced into it, I’m all fucking in. Then again, I was in a long time ago. Now lets just hope the trailer looks good and comes soon.
Can someone explain to me what "legally forced" means? Is it a financial stipulation that if he doesn't return he has to pay some money? I don't get it.
The 2016 movie. Murray and the other original Ghostbusters were signed for a third movie when Reitman was working on it. Sony decided to ditch Reitman and put Feig in. After that, Murray (and maybe the others, can't remember) didn't want to do it and Sony threatened legal action because of the contracts and that's how we got the cameos in 2016 movie.
From the looks of it he came back on his own. He was even out eating lunch with the cast and hanging out with the cast. If forced i'm sure he would have just took off after he filmed his scenes. Wonder if he will still be like the last gb3 draft? He was a ghost hanging around the firehouse but didn't know he was dead and the other ghostbusters didn't have the heart to tell him! Lol. With egon gone I don't think they will do that now. Slimer was going to be like in the video game and stuck in a machine on display in the firehouse as a mascot. They had a soft spot for him as he was the first ghost they captured and he was more harmless other just sliming people if he got out. They used this in the game but not sure if they will use it here.

I found out about this movie yesterday while looking up what movies are coming in 2020. I'm keeping my expectations low after Answer The Call. But I'm still excited.
The ladder STILL bothers me, but holy shit am I excited Now, allow me to say something I have never said in my life... -ahem- Is it Monday yet?!
So they say in the info the fight at the end of the first one is now seen as a myth and most don't think it's real. So no news took footage of a giant stay puff walking in new York or a ghost portal over the city or the fact that ghosts were all over new York at all huh? I guess no one got photos of ghostbusters 2 with a giant statue walking around town and more ghosts attacking complete with a huge sized one in one scene and slime that covers a full building. Please don't insult our intelligence movie. No way no one filmed those two events. On another note trailer is Monday.
The "mass hallucination event" thing was already in place as of Ghostbusters 2, so that would be a matter of not trying to retcon that. In fairness, this was long before the mass public had cameras just laying around in their pockets or necessarily owned a camera at all, so it's plausible (just not probable) that nobody got proper photos of the Stay Puft event. All the news crews were at ground zero waiting for the Ghostbusters to show up, so maybe all the supernatural pyrotechnics screwed up their gear while all the really weird stuff was going down?
Didn't buy it then and don't buy it now. You can't tell me no news filmed the giant walking stay puff or the tons of ghosts running around. In part 2 the heads of new York was right there watching the statue walk (the mayor even said he talked to a ghost for two hours) plus you know they filmed the statue walking. Don't buy it at all.
Do ghosts appear on camera in this universe? I think GB2 was a little close because everyone in New York City literally saw all that but upstate 35 years later? Maybe if there's not a single photograph of Stay Puft or his remnants. The only thing is in 2 they did literally animate the Statue of Liberty. That wasn't an apparition or ghostly protoplasm or whatever they turned it into a robot and powered it with ghost juice. I think that would be a matter of public record. These are also, to a degree, films for children, to be fair
I think they are ignoring 2. The trap has the GB1 knobs. If they ignore that the Ecto-1 and 1A are two different vehicles, that will be the tell. Which is dumb, I think.
I mean i'll still enjoy the film even with that. It's just a nitpick so I won't hold it to much against the film.
