For sure. One of my biggest regret purchases ever.

She did not stand the test of time. Hell, she didn’t the second I took her outta the box and realized my almost instantaneously regret.

Dumb face/head, dumb feet, dumb hips, dumb incomplete alt mode :/

 

The first thing I did with this figure is remove all the car kibble as it was useless anyway. Slapped the Potp Combiner Elita Head on her and there he stands next to TE Op. good as an action master

 

Man, I must be weird because I actually like my Toyworld Arcee.

 

Same. Her alt mode is crap and her head needs to be changed out, but for me, her bot mode size and height is perfect in my particular display.

Did Toyworld ever mention why they didn’t do more with the alt mode? I just can’t imagine how any company out there could look at that and say, “meh...good enough”. BUT, I love the bot mode. She looks better than TT’s granny tits and horseface any day of the week...IMO. I could see myself getting this one just to use as a non-transforming action figure as others have done.

 

Get the Zeta one. It’s shiny with the better face

 

Zeta/Toyworld Arcee is still the best robot mode out there imo.

 

The only thing I would like to see is a slightly larger head. That’s really it. The rest of her looks pretty good. The lack of kibble that hurts the alt mode really helps the bot mode. All that being said, I’m kind of surprised BBTS still wants $70 for her (though I’m sure she can be had cheaper elsewhere).

 

I have TW Leia, but I'm about to pick up Zeta Arc as well since I like the figure so much. I did design an OS head for her, but obviously it can only stay attached in bot mode only. I'm sort of revisiting her again since the lockdown occurred and will start working on a rear cover for her alt mode the next few days. I started on it way back, but other projects ended up taking over.

 

I've thought about doing this if I can ever find one cheap enough to justify the purchase of Elita One just for her head. I'm using MMCs MP for Arcee, but I think the TW body makes a great base for Elita.

I’ve been thinking about an add-on for her as I’ve been staring at her. If you can figure out how to make the kibble pretty in bot mode (ala “she who shall not be named”) you would be on to something. Or, make part of it form a shield and the rest hang off like robes or wings or something...or a hoverboard that actually LOOKS like a hoverboard. Lol.

 

I'm not going fancy with it. Maybe it'd end up being usable as a shield, but I'm just as happy with an alt mode only piece that sits on the shelf useless for bot mode.

 

Fit and form testing is done. Just need to some surface detailing and the rear light/bumper details.

Still never understood why the front wheels are outside rather than inside the fenders but your work is fantastic

 

Toyworld/Zeta made some very very stupid design decisions with this toy across the board, as the head, paint, vehicle mode, and materials they used all suck. If I didn't like her bot mode size/proportions so much compared to the other "MP" Arcees (even the new Takara so far), I'd have probably sent it back to the retailer I bought it from when I first got it.

 

It's really hard to capture the facial details without it being painted yet, but here you go.

 

I think you should try to match the blockiness of the line work on the actual figure so the that your add on looks like it belongs there.
