You can swap out the extra face for the one that is already in his head. The face that he comes with has the alternate face that you have to spin around to use right? This extra one just has the battle mask flip up and over the non-masked face. Just a personal preference on how you want to swap between his faces - spinning or flipping. Emgo talks about it in his video :)

Think you'll do any chest mods?

Not very enjoyable, but the end results make up for it.
It's simpler to use than the MPM-4 gimmick.

Oh wow that's cool! I feel like flipping would be more fun and easy.

Definitely gonna try out some mods at some point. The chest sticks out way more than MPM4. But the back. My god the back is so nicely compacted!

I barely post, but wanted to say I received mine (Show Z), and he's quite impressive. I haven't done any mods, I just fiddled with the chest panels a bit to make it look better. They're not locked in. He's quite nice. Haven't tried transforming. I'll definitely be trading his head for my BMB's noggin, I think it will look incredible with that slightly bigger portrait. Here he is with MP Loud Pedal (under appreciated mold!).

So I'm in a bit of a conundrum, could really use your advice guys.

So I have two options since I'm planning on getting this guy on Sunday. I can pre-order it at ShowZ (and wait till they have it in stock, whenever that may be) or buy it for slightly more with a eBay seller I've known for a while who has it in stock rn...
I feel like ShowZ would be the better option in case the figure has any issues, but I have no idea when the current pre-orders will arrive...

    Any thoughts?

Says March on their site. They seem to be pretty reliable. The last preorder was for sometime in November, and it did start shipping out in that month. It's really up to you. I'd stick with Show Z. Patience is a virtue! :)

How long I'll shipping from eBay take? If you are state side, expect 3-4 weeks for it to get to you after you order him from ShowZ. If this guy can ship faster, might be worth it.

Also, he finally came!!!! Picked him up today. Haven't even opened him yet.

I'm in Mexico so it usually takes the same amount of time as it would to the US, the eBay one is supposedly expected to arrive Dec 17-Jan 07 but since it's 1. Coming from China 2. Being shipped during the holidays, I highly doubt that.

Might end up going with ShowZ based on your suggestions . Even tho it's going to be 4 long months if it is in fact arriving in March

Well whatever you do, rest assured it is well worth the wait. This figure is gorgeous and definitely one of the best figures you can own. And he is heavy and super solid. Like others have stated, he is sooooo much better in person. Pictures just don't do him justice. The details are amazing.Whatever your preferences are with his head and chest, this guy has such a presence and will look fantastic without mods.

Also, his joints are solid are very strong and his back is glorious. 11/10 would recommend!

So I've heard and seen! I spent a good 30 mins or so drooling over pictures and videos of him the first time i saw the finished product lol. I've probably spent an unhealthy amount of time analyzing OT Prime's design over the years so I'm beyond excited to get him :D

Is there any detailed instruction out there for putting the larger BMB head onto the black apple prime? I've taken both collar/neck/head assemblies off both figures, but the black apple head is all attached with pins. Is there a simpler way I'm missing, or am I going to have to remove pins?

EDIT: I got the black apple head off of it's collar section by prying with a butterknife. It's secured onto that collar plate with a flat-headed push pin. Can't unscrew it like you can on the BMB. Anyway, I've got the new head on, fits almost perfectly, just needed to trim a bit of excess plastic off the back of the BMB neck at the bottom. Looks very nice and proportional!

Looking at the images of this figure has made me re-preorder it (that plus LT-02? decided it didn't need parts of itself anymore). This is gonna be a long wait, but I'd rather wait with Showz than gamble with Ebay.
