Picked Leia up from a fellow board member. I recognize her off proportions, but she looks good at some angles. And definitely better in hand. I can not get behind Rouge, at all. Twig arms, no hips, blah. I hope MMC can get closer to that Studio OX illustration. Or at least the movie version. Off Better Her smaller head noticeable here. And again, this angle looks better to me. If only her head was a slightly larger.
No worries. Also, not known by many, you can store the pistols in the shoulder pylons. They pull open at the bottom.
Inspired by Orbitalchaos (respect!) after my original plan of covering the backend with a Corvette model fell through (model cracked while shaping it). I had a WJ Arcee sitting around useless with 2 right arms, so I decided to use the partsforming car pieces on Leia. It's coming along okay, but more sculpting/shaping and a compete repaint of the figure is still needed.
Nice work! That looks pretty good. I transformed my Leia for the first time last week. The backend of alt mode doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would.
To me, the cons of her alt mode are outweighed enough by her bot mode to make her my MP Arcee. Her bot mode design and height beats out the other 3P Arcees for my tastes (I wanted an Arcee on the taller side), but her color scheme and unpainted face are definite low points. At her price point though, she's a perfect Arcee for anyone willing to fix her up a bit.
While I would love for someone to make a new head and a back end for her, I think its time to give up on anyone ever making an add on kit. Times past her by.
