I like his chest area much better on the SS one, I may replace the hands trough, they are attached to the window making them fragile and they are huge, a bit clownish.

He is Based on a dotm Voyager Ironhide and a junker longarm.
It was a little puzzle but he fully transforms.

I am figuring out what to do with the feet and the lightbar (I want it to move forward a little)
Other than that he needs some filler, his wheels and then he is ready for paint.

Some would prefer if SS-49 comes with the normal non-battle mask face but frankly, I don't mind the head with the battle mask that much.

Another neat thing about SS-49 is both the door wings and front wheels are mounted on a swivel joint, allowing both the door wings and front wheels to be posed in either a more upward position or a more neutral downward position.

Are his shoulder pads already painted gret in the center? And this is great, I’ve always missed this possibility on the TFTM and ROTF Bumblebee molds.

 

It's cool that they reversed his legs so you can use the transformation joint as an ankle tilt. I wish they'd thought of that sooner.

My lovely Mackatron. Did you know that you can remove his trailer aka his legs? I personally like cab mode more than full tuck. You can even give him his MechTech weapon as an oil tank  


Also you can remove his front grille to make cab look more "clear"
