Never really got into beast wars but it\'s really sad to see such a talented writer pass all the same, may she rest in peace
And what exactly did I say that offended your ass so much? Is it sacrilege to say anything against the "almighty" Simon Furman ? ANYWAY, she was a good writer. And I think I'll watch 'Crossing the Rubicon' tonight, in her honor...
Wow, I had no idea D.C. Fontana had written an episode of Beast Wars, and what an episode it was. RIP. Till all are one.
Press F to pay respects "She lived a warrior... and died a hero. Let her spark join the Matrix, the greatest of Cybertron."
RIP, and thank you for one of the best episodes, D.C. Fontana. My condolences to your family and friends during this sad time.
It is inappropriate to turn a thread mentioning a person’s death into a comparison between writers for two different mediums.
So sad to hear, and while I enjoyed plenty of her sci-fi works, Star Trek being my faves, I actually did not know she was a woman! She really has an impressive body of work.
I'm still watching through BW and Star Trek TOS, and I can't say I recognize the name. RIP, and my condolences to her family.
I suppose that you're correct, but! All I really meant was that I thought that 'crossing the rubicon' was the stronger written episode...My form of compliment to her...The "YEAH" part was me exclaiming in excitement that I could (mostly) remember the plot of the Reboot episode Fontana wrote... And that I don't know if either writer ''did their homework on the plot, characters, etc...But I strongly think that Fontana probably did...
