No, the old Deluxe is the same size as the new (upcomming SS) Deluxe Soundwave, that car is to big trough just as the new one
Here is the “old” deluxe with SS JunkerBee, Jazz and Barricade
And a 1:39 scale Mercedes SLS (the size he should be)

The old Deluxe is 1:32 in scale.

 

wow I didn't realize he's so small  I used to think that Dotm Soundwave was too small to be 1/32
So actual car is even smaller than Pontiac that's insane! Are you sure that Jazz is 1:39?

 

He probably would scale well, but details and painting are at least 4 steps behind... He is not comparable with the OS Mpms... And that's a shame... Someone could start from here and really make it the ultimate DOTM Meg... Do you also have pictures in botmode?

 

It is an oversized knockoff of the 2011 DOTM Voyager Megatron. The robot mode is basically the same as that figure, just gigantic.

I'm sure once Arcee becomes more widely distributed we'll see a variety of fanmodes in this very thread... and perhaps 3Ps will release add on parts to help make a more coherent combined mode too.

The weird yellow headlights on SS Soundwave are so puzzling to me. They look like something you would see on a prototype, not a released figure. It's not like they were gang-molded with his other trans parts. Which are a proper clear color. It doesn't ruin the figure for me, but it's like a smudge on a painting.

Also, while I am on here, Primus dammit does that new Megatron's silver look sexy! It's just a shame the feet are total crap.

 

They really jacked up that artwork...
