If it's in the recessed part of the circle, I'd simply get some dark grey acrylic paint from a hobby store (or Walmart .99 cents ) and cover it up.

The piece I had stress marks on was the trailer door of a G1 Optimus Prime.
After the kettle had boiled I waited a few minutes then slowly trickled the water over the stressed parts.
    It practically turned grey immediately.

The trickling approach is a great idea! I would definitely try that first as completely submerging the entire thing in hot water could have adverse effects...maybe. I’ll have to try the trickle trick myself sometime...

FUUUUUUUUUUU I broke BOTH wings while transforming him. Some of that may be because me, but these things are fragile AF. I'm guessing there's no good way to replace them?

You need to move these by holding them right near the hinge. Also I think you have to rotate them to a certain spot before you can even use the hinge.

But I thought it was decided way back when the first version released that you don’t need to bend these hinges at all for transformation? I didn’t touch those hinges on my plus copy.

Ironically the figures that I have that have the most QC issues happen to be Takara and Hasbro ones.

Yeah you're right and I KNEW that too and I still broke it because it was late, and I was sleepy and careless. It's quite possible to transform without bending that hinge at all. Oh well what can ya do....

At the what they've been charging for what they're producing lately, I'll gladly roll the dice with FT or any other 3P. At least there's direct after sales service support with FT.
With Takara's qc issues, the customer is stuck like Chuck and SOL.

Breaking wings was a common issue on the original MP-20.
