You are the hero we need but don't deserve. Or the one we deserve but don't need, I forget how it goes. But you are a hero.

Love the different sizes and hues. If you'd have told me this was possible 10 years ago I'd have called you a madman.

Wish I had more time for photos this morning! Hopefully tomorrow, but for now just basic car and bot turnarounds. After an hour or two of initial disappointment, three days later I can confidently say I'm head over heels in love with this guy. Optimus, Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Wheeljack are what always came across to me as the core Autobots from s1 & 2, always my favorites, and I'm pinching myself that I have them all in MP form now and they look closer to what I grew up loving than I ever thought possible.

I can't get over how much personality Bumblebee's car mode has. Big fan of the opening doors and seating ability, so if sacrifices were made for their sake (though I think the backpack and heels have more to do with his faux chest and the unwillingness to chop up the doors), then it was worth it for me. The car mode on my copies cleans up pretty nice, though in photos the gaps really stand out just because they magnify such a tiny figure.

    Anyways, very happy!

Heels and messy backpack aside, they absolutely nailed the bot mode. TT stock photos did not do him justice, especially since they didn't extend his neck at all. Anyways, couldn't be happier! I still have to sand down the backs of all his eyes so his faces will sit more flush, though...

Brilliant collection and display, @TigerBlade . What you said is exactly what I was talking to some friends about just yesterday. One of TFs biggest appeals to me since day one was the variety in shape, size, and color. They always made most other toylines look bland and homogeneous in comparison.

I'll just paste what I said in another thread about the situation as a whole:

So I had a bit of a moment today. Putting MP45 up on the shelf, stood back to look and noticed an old collection pic come up on my Home Hub which made realised how far we've come over the last 10 years.

I know it's not everyone's cuppa tea but this is exactly what I was striving for all those years ago and now they're there. Crazy thing is I'm only a few Headmasters and a titan Defensor short of actually finishing what I set out to do.

If you'd have told me that 10 years ago I'd have called you a crazy bastard. Throw in what the mainline are doing and the fact we're very possibly getting a MP combiner at some point in the near future, on top of HasLab Unicron and Fanstoys Fort Max we're incredibly lucky as a fandom.

I just can't get enough of this figure. She is amazingly photogenic.

@Yaujta , awesome shots and poses! You're making me wish I cared about BW! But obviously a beautiful and extremely expressive figure ;)

I posted this in the Bumblebee thread, but in case anyone didn't see it and might find it helpful...

Ok, I updated that photo set with a properly transformed backpack shot. All locked together now and the shape is much tighter and more unified looking, especially in hand.

Hope it's ok, but I'll detail real quick what I did in case anyone was having the same problem I was, especially as I suspected and hoped I was doing something wrong as it just seemed like a loose mess but I couldn't figure it out for a few days until I got some help from my friends on the board here (thanks again, guys!). The instructions weren't clear to me here (maybe it was in the Japanese text). Hopefully someone else will find this helpful!

Turns out I wasn't pulling out the extending bar or, more importantly, bending the joint completely so that the bar is nearly parallel with the windscreen. The last 20 or so degrees of that joint are pretty tight, I didn't want to risk cracking, so I thought it just wasn't designed to collapse any further. Glad I was wrong! If yours is tight there like mine, just gently push through.

Wrong - The bar is not extended and the joint is not completely bent
    [IMG]

Correct - The bar is extended and the joint is fully bent so that the bar is nearly parallel with the windshield
    [IMG]

Everything collapses tighter and locks together better than I initially had it.

    Illuminati confirmed!

    Absolutely!
Megs and Optimus look like white people squatting, whereas Blackarachnia here pulls off a proper Asian squat! She has the same ankle mobility as my girlfriend.

I'm so glad that I discovered the Masterpiece line earlier this year. Beast Wars was always my favorite show as a kid and I had a ton of Beast Wars figures. I remember being disappointed a few characters in the show didnt look like their figures both in size as well in design. Never did I think that these masterpiece figures would be possible. I discovered these figures after being suggested a JobbytheHong video with dinobot.

Lol enough fanboying from the little kid in me. These photos are amazing and I cant wait for one of my favorite characters, Blackarachnia, to arrive.

The G1 MPs just keep getting better and better! Looking forward to seeing how Hound turns out. Hopefully it's a great way to end the year. And here's hoping for more new molds in 2020!

Noticed you are not getting (or not displaying) the repaint of each mold. Nice display!

Oh no, I've definitely got the repaints of the molds eg. Cordon, Exhaust, Loud Pedal etc. I just cant fit them all in the one photo anymore! But they're all in the display cabinets in the room for sure. When Hound comes out before the end of the year, I'll do a full TF MP collection update video. Really hope they announce some new G1 molds soon!

With squats like that, Blackarachnia deserves the title of honorary Slav.
