New info about the elder dragon teased previously has been released. Spoilers are abound, so read at your own risk; Spoiler This elder dragon, Safi’jiiva, is the adult form of the Xeno’jiiva we thought had been killed. It seems to crave energy from the guiding lands, able to absorb it to empower and heal itself, and it’s up to you to stop it before it ruins life for everything else. You have a chance to fight it after Stygian, but the full battle is yet to come. Between this, nergigante and shara, our Hunter sucks at making sure the big nasties actually stay dead

humans. Especially these huge swords. Well, from a friend I've heard about grind. That's what repels me. I played for a couple of hours and took the money back. If it comes to grind, then I prefer games in the style of Space Engineers.
The grind is kind of the point. You are just hunting monsters to make weapons out of their carcasses, to kill other monsters with.
Do you enjoy being pummelled by a monkey? Do you love exploding non-stop? Then boy are you gonna love these two.
Im actually more excited about the new Barioth over Alatreon but ultimately I hope it gives me a reason not to use the Safi/RBrachi LS.
Alatreon has been a spicy fight. Escaton Judgement took me four hours to wrap my head around but now it's not too bad with a team that actually uses elemental weapons. Shame the armor set does nothing for elemental builds.
I’d like to share that I’ve been playing these game a lot the last few weeks. It was highly intimidating at first because of all the various mechanics, but I’m getting the handle of it. I’ve practically become addicted to this game.
