Did anyone shoop engine blocks onto Rumble/Ratbat yet? I'm curious to see what they'd look like as Powermasters.

 

As much as I love my POTP Darkwing, its a half-assed update. I'd like him and Quake to be redone.

how do you measure how much "assed" a thing is?

 

Half-assed squared is quarter assed obviously.

0.5 x 0.5 = 0.25

 

The same as for the larger figures (Jetfire and Omega).. paper egg carton type.. and for the window, "plastic" that's made from compostable plant material.

They did the paper ties a few years ago, was surprised to see it go back to the plastic.

 

I'll gladly take good redos of Getaway and Quake.

 

I have a suspicion that maybe we might get a Voyager Bludgeon.

 

I can remember my PCC Crankcase has paper ties.

I think Wheeljack is likelier since he had one in G1. I feel like Jazz, Wheeljack, and Bumblebee have always been possibilities and Siege probably upped demand for them. If we ever got a “Studio Series but cartoon” line, I can see them near the tops of lists.

Trailbreaker, I think, semi-officially has the T30 version as his Cybertronian mode. The rest of the 84 bots don’t have a lot of sources for it. Maybe if there was a retro WFC/FOC game line, a few of those could make sense from kitbashed parts in the character creator.

 

If they're going to insist on giving us more G1 styled Primes which I'm fully expecting them to at this point doing another take on PM OP/God Ginrai that's closer to the original gimmick would make plenty of sense.

That's what the Hasbro reps hyped WFC to be. But everything else told a different story. =/

 

People will always want more. This line is a fine basis for it. I feel like the next step could be retooling WFC stuff with licensed vehicles and tweaks. Studio Series had base molds to retool and redeco from. I think some of these Siege molds will still be getting tweaks in 8-10 years. They’ll remove all the 5mm pegs and brighten the colors and replace the hands and sell them to us again.

 

Oh most likely. Pretty convenient that WFC figures are in Sunbow scale when they're not from Sunbow continuity, aye? ;p

All 4 Modulators could either combine into a small town for Micros or a Mercenary combiner.

Wait, we never ever had a Mercenary Combiner yet, have we?

 

INTERESTING! No idea how likely this is, as both the merc faction and these rumoured higher price point bases are total wildcards, but it's an interesting idea. Aside from Lancer and Greenlight (and arguably the Micro combiners, if you're feeling pedantic) WfC hasn't really touched on combiners, possibly due to the extant ones being nightmares for consistent scaling. A modulator combiner could go some way to sidestepping the problem. I dunno if I think that makes it likely, but the idea is supportable.

I tell you one thing I'm struggling to figure out how they'll do: Fasttrack! He seemed like such a natural candidate for the Weaponizer gimmick, but -as far as we can tell- we've moved past that. Would he work as Modulator? I guess, but you still want that sweet little tank mode. An accessory with Titan Class Scorponok, like a Micromaster version along the lines of what Countdown was to Omega? Could work, but it's been pointed out that, as a double Headmaster, Scorponok is l;ikely already maxing out his budget and packaging space.

The other option, and perhaps this is the 'occam's razor' option, is that we're not getting Fasttrack.

 

So here is a straight up blunt speculation question. Does anyone think we will get Frenzy and Buzzsaw despite the fact of the line distance of Siege Soundwave?
