They did change quite a bit, actually. Overall look is similar, but Sideswipe29 here beat me to it:

The concept version's headlights were also slightly more recessed, along with the sides of the grille. The grille itself has more height and depth to it as well, and the "bars" in it are spaced further apart. The gas tank cover was moved from the rear driver's side atop the quarter panel to the rear passenger side on the side of the quarter panel. You'll notice the production version has the added XM shark fin antenna too.

They may have slightly altered the shape of the body too, but I can't be sure. The concept version seems to taper in more near the back windows than the production model.

I agree 100%. The "cheekbones" are more pronounced on the WWII version too.

There's honestly not much difference between the LS/LT/RS versions and the SS, aside from the shape of the front bumper and the tire sizes. My guess is they always use the SS version because it has the most engine power of the standard models.

when it comes to the WW2/ clunkerbee heads, My friend would be willing to make them if there is interest. he needs to make a mold trough, and that takes time. he said the more people who would want one, the cheaper they would be.

 

I got the bike sisters from ID Toys last night too. If I get them in the next few days before a lot of people still have them I'll try and puzzle out a combined mode for you guys.

It's also the jaw. SS-01's jaw was way too square and his mouth circle was a bit big. It kinda works for the clunker look in my opinion, but it's not correct. WWII Bee shrunk both, making Bee's head more properly spherical.

Good to know it's possible, but looks like we still need to figure out the proper look. If that's it, then... oof.

I hope they arrive this week. ID Toys said that we should give it another 4-6 days more than usual because it's a busy month. We can only hope!

 

Honestly, I agree. Mostly from from a financial standpoint, since I don't want to be replacing every movie figure I own with an MPM version.

 

why stop though? I get the sequel films but there's many cool designs like Blitzwing and Sentinel Prime

 

Wow! They look like a pile of crap just like with the original combination scheme! I’m guessing these are just fan modes for now? I’m sure someone can come up with a more coherent combination but it’s cool to know that there is potential.

I personally hope they will go on with the line cause is the only one I collect at the moment... And is also the best for detailing and size (at least in my opinion)

 

I had an extra WWII Bumblebee so I did a face transplant. It looks great on Clunker.

It is more round, I think that is why it looks better.

I can see that being a good size for him, though I'm not sure how the Osprey compares to the MH-53 size wise.

If you don't want post-07 MPMs you don't have to buy them.

 

Hard disagree. I think they should continue doing it. However, since it’s been two years since they started the MPM line back up and have only covered 6 out of 11 characters, they should just do the figures randomly. Have an MPM figure for a character from ROTF and one from DOTM and so on and so forth.
