In the parallel universe where the Autobot-Decepticon War takes place on the dance floor, those Stunticons have just massacred their competition with that choreography. War crime level burn and without the full team!!
Yay, mine finally shipped! Now if I could just get Fans Hobby to do the same I should have plenty before Christmas.
I always saw the Stunticons as some kind of deranged street gang with over the top, bombastic Fast and the Furious sorts of personalities. Rebranding them as an amalgam of movie Mafiosos is an unexpected direction, at least to me.
u are right, if the box art were like this, I would enjoy it too. (I like the current Mafia theme very much)
I asked the same thing about mine way back when and never got a response. That heel is die cast so likely the old 'future polish' trick won't work, although if you try and it works let the group know. I eventually traded mine away, so I'll never know what the best fix method was... sadly.
It's really too bad because despite his subpar build quality, he's actually my favorite looking Breakdown.
Capone came in from TFS-Express UK site. Good: Looks awesome in Motormaster and Menasor modes Well built Everything tabs in securely Intuitive transformation in all modes Has a metallic fleck in the black - subtle but it's nice Box art is great Someone mentioned they thought Menasor shoulders would untab easy when moving the arms - nope. There are a couple of tabs which click in securely and you can spin and manipulate them without anything moving Really stable. It's basically a giant action figure. Heaps of ratchets Menasor is real poseable for a big bot There is a thigh gimmick which expands them and has more detail on the side The elbows look great - you can see the cogs on one side and silver parts on the other, looks very mechanical Bad: Alt mode trailer is waaaaaaaaay too big (although cab is nice) Some of the tabs are really secure. Not scary but just a bit tough. A spudger helps! There were a couple of sprue marks - they're hidden in bot modes but can see in a couple of places in alt mode and during transformation No alternative expressions for either bot Hips can be a bit fiddly - they kind of hinge up and down and lock in, then the hips are attached. However, the ratchets are really strong so you can move the hinge bit up and down by accident Molded flipper hands on Motormaster!! Why?! (guess helped keep cost down?) The legs are a bit plain in the grey - but it's Menasor, so.... Overall: Really happy. Decent price, decent fit and finish, decent quality, stable, well engineered. I like Capone better that Roadking overall...only just but the overall package takes it. I do wonder that the XTB Menasor might look a bit weird - if it's the same size as DX9 but the cars are quite a bit smaller, could be slightly off proportion wise. Time will tell, i do like the look of the XTB Motormaster and will probably end up getting it since i have all the cars! Quick photos:
I think that's why XTB went with the option shells for the arms, to beef them up for people that want that. Heh, its kinda disappointing DX9 went with Breakdown and Wildrider first, had they gone with Dead End and Dragstrip, they coulda had a mostly complete Menasor, at least from the front. He has LED eyes?
Only gripe for me is that there’s no obvious spot for a big Decepticon logo on Menasor’s chest. Otherwise, it’s a slam dunk.
Yep. Mine came with batteries already in. I'll probably disassemble and paint them a nice bright red.
