Heels and messy backpack aside, they absolutely nailed the bot mode. TT stock photos did not do him justice, especially since they didn't extend his neck at all. Anyways, couldn't be happier! I still have to sand down the backs of all his eyes so his faces will sit more flush, though...

    Loving this group as well:

Arguably only Cliffjumper (a remould of the mp45 would be perfect) and Gears don't fit in. I have a feeling Fanstoys Brawn and Warpath will slot in like a glove.

Personally I think Gears fits fine. CJ looked okay until 45, but now Toro is decidedly not a suitable candidate to remain in a toon centric collection

Yeah, they were ever present throughout s1 & 2 with few exceptions. Ratchet could probably sneak in there as well, tbh! Bumblebee has me looking forward to Hound even more now (Insecticon Syndrome) as well as Smokescreen+ (Child's Play). Man, Bumblebee's yellow is so perfect and striking, so different from Sunstreaker that it's amazing how the little guy stands out even in a sizable collection. Hound's green is really going to be something new!

Also amazing how well proportioned he looks and how dead on his head sculpt is in hand when I think back to his initial reveal and how off they both felt then. Kinda par for course, really. Wish they'd get a photographer who can really do these figures justice!

    Great shots as always!
    Say, on this pic:
EBBB059E-E7FE-418A-9945-C59A1E733A8F.jpeg It looks like you may be able to compress the backpack a little bit more by pulling the bonnet piece out so that the telescoping bit is pulled out all the way.
my copy’s bonnet sits flush with the back bumper just a tad bit more.
Can’t wait to see more shots bro!

edit: looks like it’s as compressed as it can be. The bonnet piece is just angled differently. Thanks @4249david for the pics. Can you post a view from behind?
    Thanks

I’m okay with BC Grump (although I’d buy a TT version of course!) but I NEED a proper Cliffjumper...3 third party tries, 3 third party fails so far...I really had my fingers crossed for that mp49 rumour...

Yeah a Cliffy using the mp45 mould (with obvious retooling) will be fantastic. He needs the same proportions as Bee. Toro is 100% more suited to MP21. Same build/proportions.

I'm more shocked at how spot on Beachcomber and Windcharger are!

That's as tight as I can get it.

And I'm quite content with my reworked heels too. Think they might stay like that... 15753936846667382683522371118367.jpg 15753937296532874654225111831414.jpg

Fantastic pic. No doubt MP-45 from the front looks like he jumped out of the cartoon and the S1 head from MP-44 looks perfect like he's smiling.

Fiddlin' with Bee REALLY makes me want an MP Cliffjumper with similar engineering.

I'm hoping the factory rejects drop in price then I'll splice one together with Toro car parts/head!

Hey everyone! I recently got mine and think whilst it looks cool (from certain angles) i've noticed that mine has incredibly loose joints particularly in the hip area. I also had the waist completely separate from the top body whilst transforming it earlier (MPM JAZZ Style) and was wondering if anyone else has these issues? Im not sure if I should return it or not.

Ah man, thanks so much @Robotmonkeys and @4249david ! So glad I was doing it wrong! I suspected as much but couldn't figure out what the deal was. Turns out that not only was I not pulling that telescoping bit out all the way, but more importantly, I didn't have that hinge collapsed all the way. the last 20 degrees of that joint were pretty tight so I thought I had it bent all the way - glad I was wrong! Actually made a huge difference and now I'm only loving the little guy more! I'll have to take another side shot and replace it in that photo set as soon as I can!

Thanks for the pics! Are the paint apps really that sloppy-looking? The paint looks to be inconsistently applied and sploched on in parts.

I love TT's work, but jeez. We shouldn't need to fix things when the price point is so high.
