Just take FT-16... randomly chip some of the painted parts... break a few joints... and BAM! TT MP-76 Galvatron.

    Enjoy! :p   :p

I'm sure those ppl who chipped their FT16 chest paint by using his necklace and snapped his very stiff shoulder transformation joints will love that kinda piss taking.

    Such charm.

I was actually thinking about the 2 or 3 that broke at the waist.

FT 16 is such an un-fun toy to handle TBH. Transformation is complete shit, and on top of that, the end result is even shittier if that makes sense. Add absolutely needless diecast for the hell of it.

One can argue that transforming MP-44 is not fun (I find it incredibly intuitive but what the hell do I know) but at least the end result is gorgeous.

FT-16? Jesus. It is nothing but an afterthought. A square doing pushups.

TT or nothing when it comes to Galvy.

Yes, I'd rather be Galvatron-less than to settle for the available options.

Anyway, my MP-44 is still going strong after almost 7 transformations, give or take.

Fans Toys in a nutshell. I checked out on them pretty early in the game, when their Perceptor and Insecticons were inelegant clunky messes.

I was fooled by them momentarily when Phoenix/Skyfire came out and was legitimately good and fun and intuitive to handle. But judging by the reception of the things that came after, and he seems to be the exception, rather than the rule.

44 remains my #1 and he just feels that much more complete with 45 Bumblebee. Bumblebee was a bit underwhelming for the first hour or two for me, but the little shit quickly grew on me and now I love him, but he also really highlights how phenomenal Prime 3.0 is in nearly every way, a true Masterpiece.

Lol ...it's funny how differently people can see the same figure.

I agree that MP-44 is more fun to pose but FT Galvi is still a great figure and fun to handle. It's main problem (in terms of handling, posing etc) is that the ratchets are super stiff, but its proportions, paint finish etc are incredible and fit in nicely with Mp-44.

I'm happy with my FT copy but I hope you guys get your TT version. Always interesting to see different versions of the same character.

I like some of their stuff, don't get me wrong. I love, I ADORE TT. What they do is IMO, far ahead of the toy/robot making competition out there and it's not even close.

BUT, I personally don't see them ever doing my favorite set of combiners, which happen to be the Aerialbots/Stunticons. So, for those I'm going FT. They (Stunticons) scream licensing hell to ever be done officially...... but, if that were to ever take place, the FT version would hit eBay the day the Official set is semi-partially announced!

Good. It's like going from Kirkland Whiskey (which is decent and fairly priced) to Blue Label.

I finally picked this guy up after a few months of tirelessly purging pieces of my collection on Kijiji. Even with all the time put into that, plus the $600 CDN it cost me, I can say MP 44 is worth every penny.

    Damn you Takara! DAMN YOU!!!

Every time I see a fellow Canadian post that they actually paid the $600 plus tax MSRP for this figure I weep.

Please preorder on Amazon Japan next time and pay $460 all in shipped to your door (for Ontario, less for other provinces). Still a lot of money but you could have sold a little less stuff. :)

I got MP-44 and MP-45 for less than you paid. I’m not trying to be smug, just trying to help. This hobby is getting expensive and the Canadian dollar sucks. Save money wherever you can!

Prime feels complete now. Everyone from here on out is the icing on the oil cake.

I agree. There is something about the juxtaposition of Bee's size and color that make Prime photos just feel "right."

So true! The variety in size, shape, and color in this quartet's so damn satisfying :)

I think I have the same cough haha!
