Any Constructor owners here that want to get rid of their Studio Ox head and the spare screaming face?

 

Got mine today morning. No green thighs if anyone is interested.
Only had time to transform them back to altmodes.
So far so good, no loose or broken parts.
Will be tranforming them to robot modes this evening to check for potential issues.

No green thighs. No green barrel. Did it come with the giant mouse pad some of the others came with?
Any idea where to get green thighs that would match/fit?

 

I am happy for those who got this one. I am hopping that the other versions that they are releasing will have some improvements as well. Congrats to all!!

 

Haven't found any mouse pad inside the box.
The thighs however are painted green plastic, so one could use some paint stripper to make them green again  .

 

I’m gonna go ahead and get the X. Think I’ll keep my Cel shaded preorder and may even order the OG. I kinda want all three in hand to decide which one gets to be my Devvy. Dunno how much trouble it’ll be to sell the two losers without taking a hit but we’ll see.

 

well that’s a nice turn of events. I’m not sure what would be safe to use on the plastic to get the paint off with out damaging it but I’m sure someone on here might. Looking forward to trying to make mine green.

 

I think any model hobby paint stripper will do, like Testors, AK-Interactive etc.
I often use brake fluid which does exactly the same thing.
Tried using Tamiya lacquer thinner on a couple of Hasbro transformers, also no problems.
Would be best however to try on a non visible part of the toy, to if it affects the plastic in any way.

 

I don't understand why they released it again with the thighs changed back to silver... Although I never got the studio ox head with mine  . Just the G1 head.

 

Probably so they can release it again with the green or sell the green thighs separately...

 

I think it looks awesome...but like blackhawk said, it doesn't match anything else...and it's far too expensive to buy as a really cool standalone set...at least for me.

Just finished the combined mode. Haven't installed the lat fillers, because I pretty much like how it looks without them. Also I am a big fan of the original head sculpt.

Thanks for sharing the terrific pics! Any QC issues/problems? It would be nice if Toyworld really got their act together on this release and cleaned up all the headaches.
