If you want something that doesn’t really match stylistically with the rest of your display..... 

Honestly the only real option IMO is the FT one that may or may not happen at this point

Wow! The very first MP Combiner - I'm surprised it was Raideen. Exciting news indeed!

I might bite since it is the first MP Combiner, wondering if they will release this individually or all 6 packed together and MPs are getting expensive as time passes by and with 6 of them, boom wallet destroyed! haha!

The train bots did play a huge role on the TF: Headmasters series which I watched dub when I was in entering H.S. good times weekdays at 6 am.

I don't get why so many ppl are surprised. Think about it logically, it makes perfect sense. A Japanese company making a Japanese only character from an original Japanese (Diaclone) toyline.

Take off your Western tinted glasses and see this for what it really is. Hopefully it sells well then we will see Devastator et al.

 

Personally, for my own selfish space-conscious reasons, I hope the individual trains are relatively small and that the combined bot is about 12-16" tall.

 

Not a chance a Masterpiece combiner will be as little as 12" tall. I'd say at least the size of UW Devastator but in all likeliness bigger.

Individuals around Ironhide/seeker height at a guess but I think they should be more around mp44 height looking at pics of the show.

 

I’m definitely expecting at least 17 inches.

 

An official Masterpiece Raiden? That would mean my prayers have been answered...

 

Yeah, come to think of it, they have gone bonkers with prices nowadays and I can't support that nonsense, so maybe I won't be partaking in Raiden after all.

 

1st MP Combiner?

 

Considering the latest prices of TT MP line, I'd rather see an G1 reissue release in G1 box. An MP release will be 500+ dollars.
Lets say a G1 reissue for 150 dollars, wouldn"t that be nice.

 

Random thought: what if they announce a Masterpiece AND a Generations version of Raiden?
