Not sure if these are genuine deals or fan made, but they feel more like a video game model than something you’d see on a live action set. I can especially tell when slowly observing the actual “transforming” itself. I get that most, if not all, cars are hollow, but the bonnet, doors headlights on the beetle are clearly separate from the bits on Bumblebee’s robot form himself that are supposed to be those. The car just split apart from the inside and ‘bee just emerges from within as if it were a shell. Hmmm, a shellformer?
That's a really bad transformation. The car literally explodes and gets sucked up his ass with not a single part actually connected to the robot mode at all. The best part is how he starts out fully formed, then his shoulders and chest pieces open and close like we're meant to just forget we already saw them in their correct place a millisecond ago. And he still has the door wings.
Anyone else pick up that recent visual history book? As a movie fan I was not disappointed. While not technically cgi there was a few pieces of concept art I haven't seen, including the bot mode for the submarine in TLK.
As a movie fan I was dissapointed. But if anyone would be kind enough to share a better quality for this Rampage and Jetfire that be nice.
Man it's kinda neat we can still get data from Bumblebee. We could use more references here, and the last concept art was so tiny I couldn't make tail end of any character. I didn't even know Starscream had a visor. But for those who took screen caps of the Cybertron scenes, did the Seekers have more than one weapon or was it the same blaster as Blitzwing? Thinking of some ideas for Seekers and the Decepticons in a project and any clear pics and data would be great.
I think they dropped the visor on Starscream when they re-colored him with more blue for the final release (even more blue than you see on the statue and the concept art).
hello guy just start blocking, mockup this guy (not final model) ! if u have good reference such as Pre-render,turn around or behide the scene that can help me just post it or PM sry for my very poor Englsh. still learning thx u -------------- other my personal work (WIP) not TF but i hope u like Spoiler work in progress batmobile justice league : realistic dimension scale 1:1 --------------
Might be just the angle making him look taller. According to the official heights of the TLK Autobots on Behind the Scenes featurette Hot Rod is 16' 1" Bumblebee is 18' 0" Drift is 16' Crosshairs is 18'
