Speaking only as an American who has lived mostly in the South and West, we used “chuffed” only as a negative, to mean annoyed or angry, etc. I had heard it used as a positive but always perceived it as a British/UK usage.

Well coming back to original topic, here we are at the end of November, hey guys, someone at page 8 supposed release right now.
But no! I don't see any gallery of final production, I don't see any new store who put the preorder option, I don't see any rumours definitely.
I think finally that this figure will come out in 2020, perhaps April or June period  , perhaps

 

Speculation based on a pattern of behavior is the best we've got when these companies don't give us release dates. Sometimes that's right, sometimes that's wrong.

Unless they dump color pics, box design, and shipping notice in the next couple weeks, I agree that we'll probably be waiting until after CNY for release.

That's a bummer.

I'll keep on them for updates.

Yes. The Lunar New Year holiday shuts most things down for about two weeks.

We'll probably get their Rodimus before the holiday and Astro after. They showed colored Rodimus pics early in October, and his packaging is done. He'll probably get a shipping notice in December.

 

2 weeks, so February or March, not bad

 

The word on the street (in the Rodimus thread) is that hzj401 said that the factory said Rodimus would ship in 2 weeks, so hopefully that's true and we can get him just in time for the Holiday party.

 

I've never felt more "street" then right now.   Also, I can't wait for more Astrotrain info to drop. You know the colored promo pics have got to be ready to go.

Now, can we get this thread back on topic? I want further information on the proper usage of "chuffed"!  

 

By the way.
Hasbro pulled the trigger on Aliexpress. Put right now astrotrain siege at 63 usd, with coupons could be 58 usd , kapow toys uk sells it including shipping to Italy 58 gbp / 69 € , but at moment out of stock and no preorder; I continue to consider it terribly overpriced. So I wait for the MFT

PS: it appeared on Ebay too, at 58 usd shipped

That's Rodimus.

 

I know its name already. You talked about two store availability, first Rodimus, then Astrotrain

 

Who knows ... mft already had some coloured photos of some of their headmasters? Hardhead for sure I saw a coloured photo I believe (not just a render), so perhaps further along than astro train. But honestly who knows what order they decide to push things out. Just so long as there's some progress and they don't just die on the vine  

 

They seem to drop things in clusters - some have suggested they run them all off quickly between "Legit" jobs to bring the revenue in for when they don't have a contract on. I get the impression they are gearing up to drop a fair bit of their Lunar themed KO Diaclone stuff around the same time ; it does seem likely Astrotrain will ship before that and perhaps Astrotain too - but I think we have a long time to wait for Mindwipe & Highbrow etc.. still. They should drop the repaint Ultra Magnus in the not to distant future and there is supposed to be repaints of Blaster and yet another Hound colour to come sometime too.

 

Obviously we are not in the head of mech fans toys chiefs but could be speculated that astrotrain will be out end of January, or February, having seen now Rodimus in stores

 

Speaking of Rodimus - that gets me thinking about repaints for the choo choo Rocket here & for Rodimus - I'd speculate a typical Black repaint for Rodimus is possible (I wonder if he or Chuffer-bot will have a check box indicating the repaints on it) as for Space-Train I'd say White is logical to do as well as whatever colour scheme the final one isn't Toy or Animation.

 

For astrotrain I wish grey/ purple or blue, not original g1 white

 

I think some people wouldn't mind commemorative edition white partly as it is like the Go-Bot shuttles and partly as it's just nice to have the option of the shuttle in the proper colour - though perhaps it might be nice if white astrotrain was another character like Blitzwing's repaint is ; but then they did sell what was clearly Flywheels as Blitzwing so I guess white Astrotrain could be seen as an adjunt to the Go Bots dimensionally travelling again.
