I mean if they’re Hound’s pricing that’ll still be under 800. I will say with certainty that he’s gonna be the most expensive transformers figure at initial price.

Wow, never expected TT would start their MP combiner with Raiden..

Now come to think of it, Raiden was one of the first ever combiners in Diaclone, it kinda makes for TT to go back to Takara’s roots where it all began. And it’s probably a relatively safe first MP combiner, since it would appeal to the domestic Diaclone fans as well, and I heard the train bots are really popular in Japan.

 

I couldn't care less about a MP combiner sadly.

Yup, feeling the same, I'm already pretty close to the door on masterpiece collecting as it is.

 

I'd be a bit bummed if it isn't CHUG, but intrigued if it is an MP.

Yeah, 18" would be pretty sensical (I didn't see that number, just guessing)

 

That’s what I’m thinking too. Have a feeling it’ll be ‘Titan’ size (from what I remember in the Headmasters anime he was Devastator & Predaking’s rival, so if the upcoming commander class Sky Lynx isn’t your thing here’s your alternative) though how complex he’ll be we’ll have to see.

I’d much rather him be Classics/Generations than Masterpiece, but I have a feeling Takara will have designed him like the Combiner Wars / Unite Warriors Devastator, in that he can probably be fudged into either series. I actually think he may be Masterpiece sized but designed like the individual CW / UW Constructicons were.

If he isn’t ‘too’ expensive & looks good enough to fit in with CHUG I think I could be in. I’ll just treat him like an extra ‘Takara only’ Titan for next year!

although raiden is not something i will buy this could be the best news ever if it is their first mp combiner!! would mean other combiner teams would be considered if this sells well
