So far their figures released in their SS scale line have been reported to be very durable by those that have them, so I would assume he’ll be yet another solid figure you can mess with.

 

I can attest to that. They use a good number of diecast parts for armatures, so they look thin but they're really maneuverable. The pins and joints are also quite tight, but never feel like they're about to break.

In the future I really feel like you shouldn’t judge the durability of a transformer that hasn’t even released yet. Just because a figure has a high end price definitely doesn’t mean it’s not durable or that it can’t be played with. Ya gotta be careful with these assumptions man, Knowing some people in this thread, someone might use your statement to start up a rumor that this figure is completely not durable or something

 

as long as you pay the deposit on a pre-order, you should be fine against fluctuating prices. my balance due on my pre-order at ShowZstore hasn't changed since I put my deposit down.

 

Might want to hide that last bit in case TFSource/TCP feels the need to bully showz into increasing it for us.

 

Everyone makes out TFSource to be the bad guy. According to the Hung Ngo video, TCP does the same things. In fact BBTS turned out to be nice.

I didn't mean that. I mean that I'm more confortable playing with more affordable figures than an expensive one. Like an old car or a ferrari. The old car at the beggining you will be careful, but if you scratch it maybe won't bothers you. But man... A ferrari needs whole attention for protecting it, and if you scratch it, your soul will suffer a maximum pain. Hahaha.

Anyway, finally I paid the full balance of TW Deluxe. I don't want to keep seeing how the price increases again.

 

I think comparing some cheap car to a Ferrari would be a better analogy. Plenty of old cars can be quite valuable.

I'll worry about the final price once it's ready to ship, and I get the mail from ShowZ that I need to settle up. Until then I figure the price can fluctuate, but it's pretty meaningless until we actually get the pay-up mail. As far as ShowZ goes, they've got a good rep and I can't imagine he's going to drop a massive price hike on those of us who pre-ordered, unless the final cost really is astonishingly different. Play it by ear.

Most importantly, as those recent photos show, it's looking fucking aces. And maybe it really will be shipping more or less on the estimated date!

 

To be fair BBTS won't carry certain 3P toys because Hasbro bullies THEM.
