So frustrating this was never completed, and looked so close too.

I'm not usually into originals but there is so much character in the sculpt, it'd be so easy to fit in.

 

Too bad, this was a pretty cool concept. Unfortunately, there are seemingly far fewer people who are into “transforming toys” generally than those who want “The Transformers” specifically. That makes stuff like this pretty hard to get off the ground. And honestly, the track record with 3P original figures being good products or even making it into production is iffy at best. I know the simple fact that funds are finite means I’m generally not in the market for original figures, but I might have made an exception for this guy, he had a lot of character and a fun alt mode. But it would have come down to price and quality, and things like this probably need people to get on board early to even get to a point where you can find out about cost and build.

Errrr, sky blue? Tie Dye? Bright yellow? Black?

 

I’d prefer the monocle eye head, as well as the chest/crotch to differentiate from Ironhide.

Also, I think he look better in dark green like this:
