In the real world, probably yes. But in Transformers, the bot and alt size have no relationship to each other. So what's Gravestone's excuse? Like others above, I prefer DX9 Capone's height.
There isn't one. He should be the same size as mp44 ideally as he's just the cab. Difference is I can admit that even in a figure I prefer overall. So we'll just take one sentence out and ignore the rest. Gotcha
logically if I fold a 30cm paper 2 time it's going to become longer than if I fold it 3 times.. vanishing matter has nothing to do with it. it's what you do with the matter and the shape being constructed. I can flatten a 2 cm cubic round solid dough and make a square box with paper-thin though much bigger then the original dough.. does any matter vanish?
So you're saying you can take a figure the size of MP22 as an alt mode and make the entire thing the size of mp44 in robot mode without any compromise to proportions or aesthetic? Of course you can't because mp44's trailer is removed from the equation. It essentially vanished from one mode to another whereas Magnus doesn't have that luxury. That's my point. Same with Road King who is your traditional Motormaster form. It's really not a difficult concept to wrap your head around. Look I get it. You need to defend your purchases. I'm merely pointing out to the original poster that there is an argument. Don't like it then ignore it. Simples
DX9 Capone has the weakest alt-mode. The trailer is overly long and Capone in alt mode has part of the trailer attached. I presume this mod (by removing a screw?) allows the trailer part be removed, so at least the cab can be displayed standalone. I wonder how it looks in bot mode, though.
Well, I don't know as I've never done it. But if one can maximize the space usage and make it as solid as possible getting rid of unnecessary empty/hollow area, it is possible to contract the shape to be much smaller to the original object especially when the original shape is basically an empty shell. The original argument was based on treating a shape as a measurement of mass hence the "vanishing matter" and "logic argument thrown around. I'm only pointing out the fallacy on the logic used to deduct the conclusion which is flawed. And no I don't need to defend my purchase from anyone. I do what I want with my money, I don't need to justify it to anyone. What I do is merely pointing out the big flow on the logic used in the discussion in the hope to have an open and logical response. Anyway, I'm done with this topic and this will be my last response.
Absolutely! As stated there’s no point arguing the laws of a fictional universe. I’ll leave it at that, no interest in starting this debate

Heh, Sun of the Empire has their review for Fans Hobby's Black God Armor up and they have a comparison with Capone: Capone's almost as long as Power Baser and God Armor together (60cm vs 65cm) As I've said before, Capone's trailer is ridiculously long, but I kinda dig it. Can't wait to get both, hopefully they're out over here soon! (Of course, if Gravestone also really comes out this month, I'll be over the moon)
Oooo that looks fun. anyone have a CW Stunticon and XTB Arm bot? Curious how long CW ones are and whether or not I could bury her those for a temporary menasor.
Arms actually look pretty good with XTB cars, even if they're the wrong way around. Those legs though. Get them on the fucking calves. Now.
