also, if you are wanting to get the whole set know that the metallic versions seem to be more limited in releases than the chrome versions. would suck to get one or two and then be up a creek or have to pay scalper prices.

I hope GigaGrimlock will be reissued as I dont have funds now to get him. The more I see the photos the more I am eager to complete my Giga Dinobots
I need Grim and Snarl to complete my dinos, luckily there are still chrome Grim's out there and a reissue of chrome Snarl is coming out soon.
Hi, does anyone have both versions? I need some side to side pictures comparisons to make up my mind which one i'm going to buy. Pls have his arms straight in robot mode so i can see how long they are. To chrome or to metallic, that's the question? Thanks in advance
its like 4 posts above yours... pg 126 and 128 on this thread. That said, if you intend to get all 5, i would go for chrome as its far easier to get a full set of 5 in chrome.
Thanks. Just saw them. page 126 has him in robot which i saw on showz. page 128 was what i really wanted to see them in dino mode. I'll be going for the Chromed version which has the better gold yellow to me. But next time, since i've got to many transformers coming in December. I'm just getting Grimlock since FT Grinder is to ugly compared to this guy. I never liked FT Grinder because of the way off proportions. But Grimlock just can't escape the gorilla arms in robot mode. At least Superator is exceptable. This will be my Grimlock and will be swapping out Grinder for it. Funny thing is that Ft has them all G1 except for Grinder which is going a weird road. Giga has all more newer design dino's except for Superator going all G1. I think if you want G1 dino's, best have giga Grimlock and other 4 from FT. Which is what i'll be doing. I don't mind Grimlock being bigger then the other 4, but he is a really big guy.
That's great! I'm hoping I can finish off the metallic ones; I saw recently ShowZ has Grassor. I want at least him and Superator. I'm not sure I really need Gaudenter after thinking about it a lot. Trying to shrink and focus my TF collection by a lot.
That's one thing I do, is focus on only 3 TF lines G1, Classics and MP 1984-86 if it doesn't meet those requirements it's a pass for me.
Finally decided to bite and get this last Gigapower Dinobot. I really enjoy looking at this guy. He looks so much better in hand than in his online pics! His dino mode seems less skinny in the neck area, in person. Did anyone else get a swapped arm? I seem to have two left arms on mine. The left arm on his right side is turned around so that the back of the leg dfaces front. It took me a few minutes to even realize this, and it's not a big problem. It just makes him look a little asymmetrical. I thought about trying to return it, but it would be such a bother and I might get something worse in exchange... I think I'm pretty content with it as is. The neck articulation was not acceptable. I went ahead and removed the plastic piece at this neck that was inhibiting good head posing. I wish he had a missile launcher. Every other dino has a secondary firearm or two, and it's really something I miss, for display options. But he's gorgeous in both modes, and they look FANTASTIC as a set. One of the best pieces in my collection.
I'm in the unfortunate dud out of the box group as you. I just received a new chrome Superator with two right arms. Initially thought it was just duplicate hands, but then noticed that the three claws on the left arm were flip flopped (1 claw above, 2 claws below), indicating the entire arm piece is a duplicate. I will contact Gigapower shortly with photos of the duplicate right arms to request for a new left arm. Gigapower previously fulfilled my part replacement request for a chrome Grassor tail with a turnaround time of around 8 months. So despite a potential long waiting period, have patience knowing that Gigapower will eventually come through to resolve our duplicate arm issue. If he has two duplicate hands, then that won't really work, as I have a right and left HAND, but the rest of the right arm is a left arm.
I am glad they got out Superator and Gaudenter this year but the QC has left something to be desired by finishing up this set. These are both excellent figures with good materials and this crap shouldn't be happening. I want the throne but I have no clue where GigaPower goes from here or of they are just mailing it in. With their reissues this set should have convinced them they have a real winner here that a lot of people on the backside of the Dinobot wars are going to want and they needed these releases to go off flawless.
So I have been out of the loop for awhile and missed this guy. Now when I try where I have been picking up these guys, he's sold out. Usually I don't trust eBay sellers with cheaper prices shipping from China, but it being 3rd party Transformers I'm guessing I'm pretty safe? Or any good sites to check here in the US? I had been using tfsource. Thanks
