Always love chrome magnus with his/her recommendation. Too bad this fire effect shipping fee is more expensive than the fire effect itself.

 

the only thing that really annoys me with Giga is they put all of this sweet detail in the weapons but they don't highlight it any. So I said screw it and am doing it myself. so far I have some silver and gold/bronze on there. would love to find some gunmetal that's in the pens but so far no luck. using gundam paint markers to do it.

@Tazman66gt I've been wondering how those Gundam markers/paint hold up. Like once its dry,does it come off easily if rubbed on to or so?

I will once I have everything to my satisfaction, have to redo some of the gold/bronze because I used a Sharpie paint marker on it and it came off in spots as I was handling it, so the gold Gundam marker is on it's way to clean that all up. thank you for your interest.

I let it set for a day after I painted it and it is on there nice and won't rub off without some serious work. I do need to do another layer because there are some light spots where the black has pushed through but I used to have to do that with bottle and brush paint as well. I don't have the money or need yet to invest in a airbrush setup but if I keep going I might.

 

finally decided to take Guttur apart yesterday so i can fix his hips because i couldn't wait for the replacement..one of the thigh broke off before that's why i couldn't transform him to bot mode..now that it's done, i'm trying to display these dinobots in bot mode..
the only hard part in fixing the hips was looking for the spring and the litte part that goes with it, when it flew off the table..

 

Any idea when the next release of this guy is (chrome version). It was supposed to be October. Now it's looking like 'late fall 2019'. Just wondering if it will be ready in time for Xmas.

Also if anyone with the metallic versions flame effects wants to sell them let me know.

Concur. I wish they would announce a reissue of metallic graviter. The second hand market is scarce and he carries a hefty price tag if you come across one. I shall hang on to my chrome one for now. Bummer.

Yea me too. They said if there was enough demand they would. That was a month or so ago. IMHO, there is definitely quite a bit. I guess they are focused on finishing the throne.

It doesn't matter if an item is $1 with $299 shipping or $300 with free shipping, as eBay charges fees based on the total sale price.

They didn't always do that. eBay used to charge fees on the item's sale price alone, but dumb assholes like that ruined it for everyone. Before, if you knew shipping would be around $8, you could charge $10 to account for your time, gas, tape, miscellaneous supplies, etc.. But then there were always idiots with ridiculous shipping costs thinking they were going to outsmart eBay. As a result, everyone now pays more for everything.

What this person is obviously to daft to realize is that in the event of a return, eBay caps the return cost at the initial shipping charge. So if you have a $10 item with $4 shipping and a buyer returns it, then eBay won't charge the seller more than $4 when they provide the return label. But since moron has a $100 shipping cost, technically he could be charged up to $100 if the item were to be returned. Like, for example, a buyer could buy this, say it's defective, and send it back in a larger box filled with 40lbs of rocks to max out the shipping charge.
